Saitek X-52 Profile

Hey kingsnake…
If I remember correctly the throttle isn’t assigned or is assigned to something else for some reason. Check the Advanced tab - I think the solution is in there.
Cheers!

I’ve had the X52 almost since it was first released and I’m not familiar with a few functions I noticed in the profile. When did the software start using short and long commands? I want to modify the controls slightly (I don’t want to wait half a second when to start dropping flares, that’s just me).
-
You can set the delay to anything you want. It is set by changing a parameter in the bms config file, and has nothing to do with the profile. However, I find that a delay of 0.5s works perfectly fine.

this is my first time trying to set up my x-52 profile so bear with me.you show in the picture of how to turn on the clutch button that there are five tabs in the window but when i pull up my controller properties it has only two tabs settings and test.no mfd tab or led tab or deadzones tab or about tab why is mine not showing up like the pic.i cant map the clutch or mfd with no tabs to work from.

Are there any trim controls for No TrackIR BMS Saitek X-52.key profile?

No. Use the keyboard.
-
Keyboard results in stuck keys (i.e. trim randomly going full left/right and not being able to center it).
How do I go about editing this profile to add trim controls and remap the wheel brakes (current wheel brake position makes it nearly impossible to do EPU check on ramp start). When I load the profile in my editor everything is blank.

Just wanted to say thank you for this profile! I have it loaded up with TrackIR and it has made the sim much more enjoyable, got me out of a sticky situation more than once over the past few days. Great work and thanks again!

Try remmaping the trim keys using just the arrows (no shift or ctrl or alt combos)… That’s what i did and it works like a charm.
Also you dont need to use the profile editor, just modify the No TrackIR BMS Saitek X-52.key keyfile within the sim (setup>>>controllers menu) -
I tried modifying the key file and stuff just went haywire, but I found it fairly easy to program my controller to a similar setup but more tailored to the way I fly. Pitch trim doesn’t work very well, but all I needed was roll trim anyway.

Hello
I got a time a go problem with my saitek.Don’t know why so I contact MAD CATZ in UK .And thy send me a last profile for my X52. When I try to Install he doesn’t work drivers well but not software. So I try to do on my laptop and it seams nothing wrong everything works properly. I don’t know how to solve the problem so I find out on some forum where someone have same problem and he just install a software older version. And I did same and it works now I can program my saitek. And file from here I just read in it. And Seams to me that he go in conflict with my Face Track No IR. Each time when I use the mouse stick he blocks my Face Track and start to do crazy things. I try to disable F9-F12 keyboards commands but seams not to work are there any other possibility to do that somewhere in the maps of properties of Face track. Tnx.I Got Windows 7 64 bit

if we are using a webcam and utilizing the app facetracknoir, which keystrokes should we then use?
-
using the key file, which input controls the nose wheel steering?

Thanks KesMonkey! You are awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again for doing all the work for me. I don’t have the skills to do something like this. Cheers.

Thank you very very very much for this profile. I especialy love that your profile has almost all the things I’m used to (i.e. FireD used for airbrakes). you saved me lot of time…

I got my X-52 Pro today and im trying to setup a falcon bms profile. I’ve looked at this one and it looks ideal but im having a problem. When i try and enable the profile it gives me an error “Falcon BMS X-52.pr0 does not contain a profile for this device. The device has not been profiled.” If anyone knows how to fix this i would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This profile is for the X-52, not the X-52 pro. You will have to find a different profile for the pro.

Damn, ok thanks very much for the quick reply. Have you any idea of a similar type of profile for the pro version?

No problem espo. I’d like to get to the bottom of this (nearly) as much as you do.
I’ve one last thing to check with you, and then I’m all out of ideas.
Let’s make sure that your X-52’s controller ID is 0, and that Falcon is reading that ID correctly.
Run “dxdiag” from you Windows run box. On the Input page (see pic 1), scroll down until you see your X-52, and in the third column you should see a 0.
Then, from the game’s controller setup screen, check that your joystick button numbers are in the 1-32 range, rather than anything higher. What if the ID is set to 2? Not sure I can change that. Do I need to change anything in the .key file to make this profile work for me? Looks good. Wish I could use it
Ok was able to change the ID to 0 but Falcon still recognizes my buttons at a higher value. So something like 33 thru 64 instead of 1-32. Hmm…I’ll try starting from scratch and see if that fixes this.
