If you had an Android tablet, could you create the same functionality? I’m sure we can donate some amount to get you started…

Let me know if you need testers. I have an IOS developer account and could give you my IPads UDID if you need help.
I’m sorry, what does that mean (IOS dev acct, iPad UDID)?
Looks great! So MFD’s with ICP would be too small for the iPad?
It “can” be done and it has been, however, you are looking at how “big” your buttons need to be. Obviously if I can cram everything on the iPad but you’d need a stylus to press the buttons, it’s not so useful. The biggest obstacle to MDF placement is the ICP placement –- I don’t want to make the ICP too small as it would then be difficult to use, and the MFDs can’t be too small as well. I could probably cram all the buttons of the MFDs, but they’ll be just buttons and not be laid out in a square arrangement… I’ll just line up the buttons and label them OSB 1-20. Best solution – get a couple of TM MFDs!

Hehe… that would depend. But from what I understand, Android devices come in different shapes and sizes, yes? Would be hard to create ONE layout that will work for all, I would think.

If your developing an IPad app I"m assuming your using Xcode and are doing it using an Apple IOS Developer Account. Each machine you test on has an UDID that is registered with Apple for testing. If your doing it any other way, it won’t be able to be put into the IOS App Store.

The android one is out there already. Search for shared memory.

I just fired it like fire and forget, didn’t go for parameters and etc… worked. Some buttons don’t work but that might be of the callbacks needed. Didn’t dedicated more time but i will cause I have bought 2 tablets just for that.

I have a Sony Tablet S already and screen is big enough, I will get one more for my wife and there my MFDs… For now I want to do ICP though. Let me know what else you find out. Eυχαριστώ

I assume you have to have a WiFi router connected to your desktop somehow, wired or wireless.

Nope. My pc is wired and I have my wifi router where i connect my 7" tablet.
They just have to be in the same network regardless of wired or not. -
**** yeah!!!
Maybe my wife lost her ipad… XD

Awesome! Will you make an iphone version? That would work great for the ICP
-
That’s awesome ! I use something like that in DCS A-10
I already have a 2nd monitor with mfds (and tm mfds ) and gauges… Now this is exactly what I need !
When can we have it ? How much ? I’d pay right now

Thanks for looking guys. Thunder, an iPhone version is possible but since I don’t have one (gasp!!) I’m reluctant to make one –- reason being I have to “test” the sizes of buttons and such so with no iPhone to work with, I can’t test. Shung, this will be free when I release it but you’re free to donate if you wish
Development has gone a bit slow since I’m back at work; I was able to blitz this the other week since I was on leave. Might be able to post updates this weekend… maybe an “in-use video”…
-
I sure want to donate and reward your work, as I always do. Please, let me know your PayPal account.
I just can’t wait to have a try at it !
-
An iPhone app would be interesting.

Any news ?

Hello Shung… the basic concept is now complete, just learning how to best “wrap it up” and ensure a smooth and pain-free install for users. As you know, people eventually end up with their own custom .key file, either due to preferences or due to gear config (ie, Cougar vs Warthog vs CH) so proper documentation of what I’ve done and how the user can edit and customize the program is a must.
Unfortunately, I can only work on this on my spare time so everyone’s patience is appreciated.
EDIT: BTW, when I said the “basic” concept, I am referring to the pic above. Most of it is working now, but I have since expanded the project to make it even more useful. I’m sure everyone will find iFlyBMS to be even more helpful when I am done with what I want to do with it.
