TQS cursors dead
-
Please, no judging, I cannot find this in the manuals and have forgotten.
I had to reinstall the Cougar firmware.
What are the correct axis settings in the CCP to enable the cursors please?

I’m at work right now but just send me a reminder PM and I’ll take some screen shots of my CCP when I get home.

Found it on pg 2-13 BMS TEch manual

Thanks for the reminder
Here’s what my CCP looks like:
Note that with the motherboard I’m using now, I have to fire up CCP and do a firmware “retrieve” and “apply” to somehow wake up the TQS cursor. If I don’t do this before jumping into BMS, my TQS cursors won’t respond at all.
I’ve never found out what is causing this as with my previous motherboard, I never had any issues - the TQS cursors were always “awake”. But that’s just a quirk on my PC I reckon. -
Nope, It’s not just you, … I’ve seen that multiple times in 4.33, but yet not in 4.34 ., sometimes was just TQS cursor, … another time was whole stick , but that time was active usb3-hub failing .
Never found the cause tho… maybe windows usb powermanager ? … I don’t think it was hardware/Cougar anyhow, maybe was even BMS
I have to use only USB2 ports directly on case/motherboard , USB3 are problematic, stick works but programming don’t. USB3 is not 100% compatible.

I have no idea why this became necesary at one point but I’m happy it’s history now that I’m using the Warthog (still on win7).

Hmm, in the cursor setup I see the Cougar right toe break but not the left one.

Ok, I installed the real simulator ministack. I \t still does not respond in the Alt launcher or in game. It will test in CCP. Any ideas

Sorry, it is the Delta Simulator Ministick replacement
