TGP sniper: contrast IR too low

as I already mentioned, the IR TGP contrast is not enough accurate: when a vehicle is burning, It should be easily visible on TGP display…This is not the case
I’d like to see this kind of improvement

Burning vehicles aren’t that well modelled unfortunately.

Yeah, fire is so so. … smoke is good… just sometimes too short. Some vehicles can burn for hours, eg. tanks or something big with ammo… ships.
What i would really like is more fixed destroyed vehicles models … Even with TGP sometimes can’t distinguish what is killed and what is not… like tanks with blown off turret and/or apc’s and light vehicles deformed or split in half (effect of only mk82 after a direct hit)
I totally agree that IR contrast could be better…

For sure, it would be awesome to have really bright fire in an IR image, but That’s currently probably not possible.
It’s a bit offtopic, but I think (not sure, not tested) you can be on fire without having a single drop of fuel in your aircraft.@devs, can you give a bit of insight on how the IR modelling works?
