Saitek X-52 Profile

if we are using a webcam and utilizing the app facetracknoir, which keystrokes should we then use?
-
using the key file, which input controls the nose wheel steering?

Thanks KesMonkey! You are awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again for doing all the work for me. I don’t have the skills to do something like this. Cheers.

Thank you very very very much for this profile. I especialy love that your profile has almost all the things I’m used to (i.e. FireD used for airbrakes). you saved me lot of time…

I got my X-52 Pro today and im trying to setup a falcon bms profile. I’ve looked at this one and it looks ideal but im having a problem. When i try and enable the profile it gives me an error “Falcon BMS X-52.pr0 does not contain a profile for this device. The device has not been profiled.” If anyone knows how to fix this i would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This profile is for the X-52, not the X-52 pro. You will have to find a different profile for the pro.

Damn, ok thanks very much for the quick reply. Have you any idea of a similar type of profile for the pro version?

No problem espo. I’d like to get to the bottom of this (nearly) as much as you do.
I’ve one last thing to check with you, and then I’m all out of ideas.
Let’s make sure that your X-52’s controller ID is 0, and that Falcon is reading that ID correctly.
Run “dxdiag” from you Windows run box. On the Input page (see pic 1), scroll down until you see your X-52, and in the third column you should see a 0.
Then, from the game’s controller setup screen, check that your joystick button numbers are in the 1-32 range, rather than anything higher. What if the ID is set to 2? Not sure I can change that. Do I need to change anything in the .key file to make this profile work for me? Looks good. Wish I could use it
Ok was able to change the ID to 0 but Falcon still recognizes my buttons at a higher value. So something like 33 thru 64 instead of 1-32. Hmm…I’ll try starting from scratch and see if that fixes this.

@mAXpOWER:
Add 32 to the numbers at the bottom of your key file, first line should read simFirstTriggerDetent 0 -1 (and more x 1 and 0 and 2)
Add 32 to the first number: SimFirstTriggerDetent 32 -1 (x0x 1x2)
And do the same with the ones below.
Open it in notes? And save when you are done.
Cheers
Retard moment Should have kept reading. Thanks mAX!

Hi folks !! I use this profile and I’m very happy with it, but I recently bought Thrustmaster cougar MFD’s and installed them on my computer. And now, the profile won’t work correctly : The X-52 is Window’s preferred joystick, but in BMS setup it’s as if my left MFD is the first controller connected … And I cannot switch the 52 back to first controller as in windows it is already defined as Window’s preferred controller in windows control panel … I have windows 7 ultimate 64bits. ould someone help me please ? Is there another way to put the 52 as first controller and make it work again with cougar MFD’s connected ?!
Thanks in advance for all !!

I am having an issue with the profile. I had to move usb ports for the joystick so i reinstalled the drivers. Now the mouse and radar range dial on the throttle do not work. Everything else is perfect. Is there something I am missing?
-
@ kalonji Falcon asignes key’s to controllers with specific way… ie controller 0(the first) is asigned 0-1024 controler1(second) is asigned 1025-2048 etc
controllers are positioned based on hardware id and therefore you can’t restore your controller settings just like that…
with both controllers attached(x52-mfd’s) set up your mfd’s and your controller again in falcon and you should be ok then…heelandtoe why did you reinstall the drivers? anyway… it must have changed the DX key designation because of the usb port change… reasign the keys within falcon and you should be good to go…

i did as instructed step by step but nothing is working even my throttle isnt working, and none of the button seems to do anything…
this thing always happen to me when i tried to use saitek profile software and this is the reason i stoped using it , but if anyone could tell me what could be the issue
ill be glad. -
Odd. I can’t get the Throttle Wheel (#2) to Increase/Decrease radar range. I checked my .pr0 file and it works perfectly fine in the SST window but it doesn’t change any radar value in the pit.
Anyone else having/had this issue?

Thanks KesMonkey! Your profile is great. If anyone is having to press c on the keyboard to get out of dogfight mode go to the config file and make sure this is what it says.
“set g_bHotasDgftSelfCancel 1 // set to 1 = SRM and MRM override callbacks will call the override cancel callback for you”
Set it to 1.
I have one question. Does anyone know what I have to do to map the precision slider as TGP zoom? It doesn’t work when assigning it to the range axis. I am guessing that the radar range mapped to the mouse wheel is conflicting. Any ideas?
Thanks again KesMonkey. The longer I fly the more I realize how good your profile really is.

Great tip mate!! I wondered for ages to get this working. Everytime I start a mission my first concern had to be to cancel the DGFT mode!!
Thanks!

Pinky switch.
Precision slider is good for FOV zoom - set in Controller > Advanced

Thanks for making and sharing the profile, no thanks for too much screwing around trying to find it. Update the OP FFS.
