Updated the theater to V1.5
Removed RWR signal and sound from AIM-120B/C, AA-10 and PL-12.
Added Tracers, Missile Trail and Flame hiding option.
Added New Missile HIT/SHOT sound option.
Added HUD/MFD adjustment for F-16s option.
USAF EA-18G Cockpit and Flaps fix.
Added 309th FS skin for F-16C Blk.25 -
Thanks a lot for your time and attention too in doing that, dear mate.
This theater is a great fun and a valuable choice to test several tactical choices… and learn some lessons from them, most of all.
With best compliments and regards.

Added 309th FS skin for F-16C Blk.25We love the HIT sound it makes it way easier to tell when hit. What was the reasoning to remove the sound from ARH missiles? Just curious.

KTT is simulating “real-life training” so it will never shoot actual missiles and there can’t be an RWR signal.
I also thought it might be unsure if RWR can really detect missile radars until they really got into the war.
-
A reasonable choice this yours, dear chihirobelmo.
If I got the sense of your last second sentence, I too think that those RWR capabilities are overestimated by all simulations, compared to the RL devices, and Falcon made no exception - even if I have to admit that also this datum has to remain still highly classified, needless to be explained why.
With best regards to you and all the good friends here.

Things I want to improve more- I would like to remove exhaust fire and contrail of simulated missiles. But not sure how and where in particlesys.ini I should edit.
- If possible I would like to allow real missiles to show exhaust fire and contrails but not for simulated missiles.
Have you manage to find a solution on these?

Yes it is an option in the config to remove the smoke.

Good!

In rl RWR will detect and alert on 1) pickle, 2) missile going autonomous.

That is a very generic statement.
Are you saying that in regards to AIM-120C-7, PL-12 and R-77? If so do you have a source?
-
I have no idea what happens with Russian toyz…

What triggers the RWR on pickle of an AIM-120? Change in radar signal, data link initiation? And if so, is it only being picked up by the RWR of the targeted aircraft or also other aircraft in the vicinity?
-
@bowser You don’t get an indication of AMRAAM ‘pickle’ on your RWR, certainly not in BMS. I think Raptor might have some incorrect information.

@chihirobelmo Hello. I have a question. I’m not good at English. So please understand.

I think this theater is excellent and very impressive.

For enjoying this theater, I have a question.

Modified AIM-120C missile data is simulated to AIM-120C7 not C5?

I had watched below Youtube video. In this video, this training theater simulates AIM-120C7.

<a href=“
” target=“_blank”>
-

@cosics I am pretty sure that every version of KTT models the 120C7.
You need to make sure that you go in to the config Korea Training Theater Settings config and change you settings in there to allow for modified flight model.

-

@AviationPlus

Thank you for your kind answer.

I had already set config. I feel the AIM-120C has a little bit longer range.

Greeting from my squadron for the 4.36 release soon!!!
-
@chihirobelmo Well I need this now!
-
well, there’s 4.35 version as well as this is our squadron’s project but very EARLY ACESS stage
-
Will there be a 4.36 release for this?
-
So my best wishes to all of you for a successful (and quick, if you don’t mind ) release.
With best regards.
