@radium
Thanx Radium, your work is just marvellous.BTW. Reflection on aging, Mig29 was such a sexy, slick aircraft, but with age came a extra body weight and n Now it look more like fat b**ch.
But at least it’s not obese A -
@xeno Hello,
To me, Mig-29 is such a wonderful plane…
My first fighter aircraft book was a Mig-29 photobook that my father offered me, even we don’t have Mig-29 in my country, and I neither come from a WAPA territory nor from a NATO country, so, I’m fully neutral !
I just loved that aircraft at the first look, even now.
Cheers,
Radium

@radium
Absolutely, it’s damn pretty plane. I love ‘em too. I’m hopin’ , I’ll find spare moment do to 1:72 Tamya set in polish colors.Also it’s be sweet to have it fully functional in BMS someday, but i’m not holding my breath for it.

Hello,
Mig-29G is here !
Only one is remaining.
Cheers,

@radium
Hi Radium,
I know I’m not in a position to ask, but if MiG-29G is here would you at some point in time consider doing Polish 29A (9.12)? In the end all of the remaing ex-German MiGs 29 fly in PolAF from Malbork.
They were used quite oftne in NATO policing missions and various exercises. Also could be relevant in Central Europe/Baltic scenarios. -
@xeno Hello,
Thank you for your support.
Nevertheless, I am a bit tired of this project, I already have 10 models and liveries.
I will just finish SyAF Mig-29, do the LODs, and deliver all the models here.
Cheers,
Radium

@radium
That’s perfectly understandable. Thank You for all your works dedicated to Falcon/BMS. Take your time and venture into project really enjoy.
It was just a suggestion, if you’d ever revisit this one, that there is another MiG 29 variant worth taking interest in. Fully acknowledging that liveries for latest Polish units might be annoyingly labor intensive, due to portraits of WWII Polish aces on the tails.All the best Radium

Hello,
I’m done !
Tomorrow, I will autogenerate LODs, and do the package.
I hope to be able to publish the whole package sunday.
It will contain 10 models, with 4 states, 4 LODs + destroyed model, so, I expect… 164 LOD files, 12 textures !
Cheers !Radium

Wow, They looks vey good. They can be convert later on flyable somehow? even just for AI?
They look more accurate and better quality than the original one in the game now, so it will be nice if they can be replaced with these ones -
@repvez Hello,
In fact, Hayab’s Mig-29 is just excellent !
That being said, textures would need some more love to give her a fresh look.
Some of our devoted texture artists did some great job on it :
@Bloodhound161 indeed did a really nice job to enhance Hayab’s Mig-29
Here is some glimpses of his work. Perhaps you can ask him to share it ?
Cheers,
Radium

@radium
indeed Hayab3D did excellent job but unfortunately I don’t hear form him for an ages.
But him and you were the most fast and accurate modeller that I have ever seen in the BMS.
I thought there will be a new era with two of you to replace many of 3d model in the vanilla install and not like a MOD. -
Hello people !
All Mig-29LOD0 are now exported.
All models have these states :
- Open canopy
- Closed canopy
- Payload
- GSE.
LOD1 to be done !
For those who are interested, here is how I sort our my models :

Hi Radium ,
Thanks for this nice work. I have one question (or I’ve probably missed something): is there somewhere a post describing how to proceed to install the models? I extracted the database of BMS 4.35 in a temporary folder using the 3ddb_builder utility. I get 3 folders: LODs, Parents and Textures. In the Parents-folder, I see subfolders (0001, 0002 etc). So far so good. When I unzip your Mig-29A IRIAF, I see 4 subfolders: Closed canopy, GSE, Open canopy and Payload, all of them containing a PARENT.DAT file and some LOD-files. Where should these files or folders be copied and how to rebuild the database? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks! -

@icarus
Thats quite wrong actually. He is gonna exchange the normal Mig-29 with a Static model!
Please be careful what u comment my friend!
I dont think there is a parent for it in the DB but i might be wrong. This release i see it mostly like an asset for Theater maker to add it in the airbases!
Cheers. -
@manos1981 Sorry my error. I misunderstood. I deleted post.
