Nice, but why the two seater variant? It is quite strange to fly with the two seater, actually I never do because the capability of two seater - two human AI/eyeball/etc. - cannot e simulated currently.

What type of material are you using for the glass canopy? Look fantastic.The canopy will use two sets of glass. First layer will be textured, the second outer layer will use the standard glass reflection method.
@ Molni: I like / prefer two seater models. With single seat models I get the idea that the canopy is too small compared to the rest of the plane. When I take the Hornet for a ride I take either the B or D model. It’s just something personal…
Second, my Launch Vipers experience learns that two seat F-16 models in F4 have the largest amount of poly’s. I try to keep the poly numbers in check and if the two seat is not cutting down the fps the single seat models will do even less damage to the frame rate. Single seat models will have 5000-8000 fewer poly’s. -
I hope the CFT’s & Dorsal Spine are within your max-limit plans for the -D 3D model. How poly’s right now in the wip model we see?
And out of curiosity, how poly’s for those destroyed shelters? These look amazing!

The CFT and spine are not part of the poly limit. But they won’t take that much poly’s. The D has around 47000 poly’s. It’s a bit high but I stall can remove some poly’s that can’t be seen. The LOD2 model will kick in sooner to save the fps. Frame rate is all theory for now. The C will be around 38.000/40.000. The model has not been flown in the sim. That will be done after I’m done skinning the jet.
The destroyed shelter is 3849 poly’s.

I’m sure I can find some time to create that version. But C50/D50 are first.

Are you creating D and C model at the same time? or just concentrate on D model only at the moment?
