F-104 model bugs…
F-104C : rudder and elevator are not animated on model.
F-104G, J, DJ : elevator ok, rudder not working.
all F-104 dragchute not working. need fm edit:

F-104S in Balkan mod :
Rudder not working. dragchute needs fm edit.

WD-1 UAV bug:
aileron direction reversed > remove reversed DOF direction and angle limits in model.
tilted tailflats - only work as aileron, direction reversed. the tailflat control surfaces act as combination of elevator and rudder, can use nested DOFs to simulate it.
all wheels not turnning > uncheck use max/min DOF angle.
nose gear steering direction reversed, DOF should be 5, not 4.
main wheels sink into ground. need fm edit.
HUD shows fuel low flashing on taxiway…

MQ-9 :
aileron direction reversed.
V-tail control surfaces can use nesting DOF for both rudder and elevator control.
wheels not turning > need fm edit, add some values to
animGearMaxComp1 0.300 animGearMaxExt1 0.300
BTW WD-1 EO turrnet can use DOF93, like MQ-9.

MV-22 :
when throttle 100%, the propeller disc disappear.
BTW, since this is a very high poly model, i think it deserves to…
- have animated rudder and elevator.
- add rear ramp?
- engine nacelles use DOF 95/ like AV-8 nozzle. set fm as VSTOL ac. nesting DOF4 on nacelles may provide yaw control at low speed.

Mig-21F-13 :
the ac CoG is outside fuselage. it makes the ac rolls along an axis outside the ac axis.
boarding ladder placed too high. should touch the ground.
all wheels turn reverse direction. all wheels DOF numbers need to be re-assigned.
main wheels sink into ground.
no wingtip, nav, and landing lights.

@Radium Ah, I begin to see where I touched a nerve with what you quoted. Let me make something very clear. The OFM is very careful NOT to take credit and/or “steal” yours or anyone else’s work. We truly want to work with people, not over them. But, I ask you to understand something as well. The OFM formed when a Dev said, on the Forum, that he wished a third party would come in and help with the “other jets”. That’s why our name is the Other Fighters’ Mafia. So, when someone comes in with an Other Jet problem we ask for specifics so maybe we can help. We had no idea it was your model.
I’m writing this reply for a simple reason. It is to tell you, or any other Model or Theater Dev, that if we unknowingly encroach or anything you or they are personally working on, simply tell us and we will happily back off. What’s important is that the Other jets get the “love” they deserve, not who does the work. -
@drtbkj we encourage community contribution but that doesn’t change the fact that you should get in touch with the original author before working on an asset.
By agreement, BMS gets the full rights on given materials but property remains to the original authors.
You are not BMS, so you’re not exempt from contacting authors and if you have a doubt, you can either search in the forums or contact the BMS team to see if we know.
Hope this clarifies and sets ground for good collaboration grounds.

fly su-35SK, just succeed in AAR with IL-78. very cool experience - i got the basket contact in F-16 pit! we definitely need qawa’s 3d pit, or at least a su-35 cockpitwing model to make AAR probe visible.
BTW, i notice su-35SK carries chinese weapons like PL-10/12.
IIRC the key of the deal is use-russian-weapon only. -
after several successful hits with AGM-65L, i try AS.30L …
all AS.30L fall short after launch. no joy.then i check FE and missile.dat , compare it with AGM-65L:
AGM65L seeker type 5, seeker version 0.
AS.30L seeker type 0, seeker version 49.i change the data as the AGM65L, done and the missile hits tagets!
also in its SWD, uncheck [has display].
BTW its range is set to 6 km … a bit short when compared with wiki 3-12km.

F-104 bugs…
test F-104A jordan AF in israel mod…rudder and elevator not animated.
BUT this one has a great cockpitwing model to match the 3d pit! the rudder in this cockpitwing model not animated, but elevator works.
F-104 wheels not turnning… needs fm edit in gear compress and extension data.
F-104 model bug- LEF DOF9/10, only bottom sides animated. the upper side is not animated. . i only check F104C and F104A.

it’s a bit hard to maintain stable level flight and do fine-tuning rolls… the model CoG is too high.
