@linknet How does the profile know if you have a cold start, ramp start, or air start?
-
@Atlas From shared memory via Falcon Interface > Runtime > Flight Start Mode.

Thanks for the update Linknet! I’m here to report back that the version 4.36-1 works as intended and all but when I updated to 4.36-2 some of the switches doesn’t work no matter how I swipe on them, like Main Battery switch and Jet Fuel Starter switch. I replaced the Bin Folder and Helios profile as you instructed, with my old key file then new one copied from the new bin folder and reconfigured with my warthog, but the problem persisted.

@linknet, I have a question: the front console uses RTT, the Zoomed console uses Helios extraction - which is much slower fps on the MFDs. Is there a way to have RTT on both the normal and zoomed consoles? Thx!
-
@jacqueslees
There are only two minor changes in the profile itself and no changes to the key file for 436-2 over 436-1. The main changes were to the exe files in the Bin folder. So this must be a key file issue. Check the key files again and make sure that the profile and BMS both point to identical versions. It doesn’t have to be the same key file as long as both are identical. -

No unfortunately not, there isn’t a simple way to have RTT display two LH or two RH MFD’s for example. It can be done by running two separate instances of RTT but then you would have to find a way of switching between them with an external application. I just gets very complicated.

@linknet thx… I feared as much… pity, the zoomed console is great for TGP etc. Oh well, maybe one day…

@linknet Thanks for your advice I’ve solved the problem. I did 2 things:
-
In helios Profile Editor The version Option for either 4.34 or 4.36 is blank. I selected 4.36 again.
-
I found out that the Always emulate QWERTY keyboard option was no ticked. Since I used a french keyboard and I’ve selected this option before but like the option above, somehow this is not saved so I ticked it again
And voila everything is working right now. Thanks for your great work !!

I cannot get the download from MediaFire.

How can i Edit - Add keys for CPD to work from my keyboard?
I dont use touchscreen, so i want to add some keys for keyboard use… -
If you open up the profile in the Profile Editor and look in the Interface Status for Keyboard, select the Gear Icon for settings and enable Key Input. Then in the Bindings > Input panel under Keyboard you can select keys to bind to items in the profile.

@linknet
ok thanks…,.
i have an extra hardware button device “joystick” its a removable hardware device…
were are the buttons ? i can use only keyboard ? -
@giannis_plt
Helios does support loading interfaces such as the Thrusmaster Combined interface allowing you to program joystick buttons for input to Helios. But that’s the only one I’m aware of, I’m sure there must be more. Perhaps someone else might have some input (excuse the pun) on this. -
@linknet I see you’ve posted version 02 but any chance of changelogs? Thanks!
-
@Atlas It was just a few fixes to correct issues with 436-01, so not worth documenting.

@linknet Thank you
