@cro888888 Interesting to see. In your youtube, i see the you are taking off from Hualien airbase. Question - how did you set up F-CK-1 taking off from Hualien? Default setting in all campaigns do not have any F-CK-1 squadron at Hualien though, not sure if this affect AI’s behavior. Speed up function is used for testing purpose & for human, not really for AI. And why do you need to speed up on ground? I think this may cause AI to malfunction. Suggest you play under normal 1x speed and whenever it comes to AI, follow the AI ATC instruction as well as the original design to ensure the game can progress smoothly.

Here is the news.
I started creating some updated versions of those TEs I made dor Taiwan 4.35.3 (converting the former ones showed right away impossible due to the change of db, I’m afraid) yesterday, and testing the new pretty one’s capabilities at the same time.
Just for my usual born curiosity: what Taiwanese helicopters are currently availabel (if any)?
And what end happened to those LCAC naval units I used to take advantage of and make some nasty invasion surprise?
I really do miss them a lot, guys - unless they aren’t in the ODB of any country in this theater, of course.Thanks for your kind attention, and regards.

Yeah, or give a bulldozer a sudden call to get rid of the intruder quick otherwise, that will sure work.

I don’t know about “forced exit” it never happens to me. The “getting shot down as soon as take off” is a feature, not a bug. You don’t HAVE to get shot down as soon as take of if you realize you are under attack and take off accordingly. In the first two campaigns, Taiwan is totally being over ran by PRC. In the second campaign there are sa17 10 miles or less west of chiayi and there are aaa in every direction within 10 miles of this base . Mech and artillery are soon to follow if you don’t sanitize them. In second campaign zhiahang is being overran by tanks as well at the start. If you start from this airbase, good luck getting into the air (it is doable I’ve done it) and then if you want that base to remain, you better do all you can to destroy that tank battalion. These “taking off from airbase while under attack” are same as some classic ito and dersteff’s original “last stand” campaign. If you don’t like that kind of pressure while taking off, try the other three cams, or take off from a base that isn’t being attacked. In the first two cams this might be a tall order as they are all almost under attack. Frantic quick response and player controlled squadrons are what needs to be done to prevail. Taiwan isn’t an easy theater if you play as ROC… -

It was a little of time no seeing you.Well, currently wasn’t me that guy making weird experiences in Taiwan, you know… I haven’t started to test it seriously yet, I mean.
And I never thought Taiwan could be an “easy” scenery… just having a not-so-conventional look to that region to have more than a few interesting responses, I guess.
So I had a maybe perverse fun when creating my custom TEs at their times.With best compliments and regards, bro.

I’m just saying “last stand” and “raging dragon “ are very difficult from the start. SEAD set by player and TASMO set by player are completely necessary to prevail. These are meant to be like this. Eyes of the serpent campaign has ROC advantage at beginning. And may be easier to start with. Although, even in this one there is a large marine invasion from PRC, but they haven’t spread throughout yet and can be stopped with interdictions. PRC has less ships in the straight and ROC is invading PRC at the ne and sw to meet in the middle to win. -

Good morning, Gentlemen.
The day has come.
Here (link text) you can find and download from the first three custom TEs I updated for the current version of Taiwan.Some advise before leaving you to the fun: I had to accept, and tolerate, some compromise to not waste the whole tactical assets and consequently the purposes of these missions. Well, I hope I succeeded in that. Besides, it could be interesting to test what happens if the tactical choices go wrong and you must fix the mess you made… a kind of trouble all of us experiment and struggle against in our real lives, I guess, no matter of what our respective jobs are.
Important. In “Domino” you can test if Vipers (but other planes as well) are really able to face the PRC last generation fighters.
Please consider to fly the missions each from the red side too, I think this could help you in refining your tactical skills. Or this was another goal I tried to accomplish, at least.
Be patient and good with me, and please forgive those errors I made - but please give me some feedback on those aniway, I would appreciate a lot.

Ah, and there will be more others to come, only give me the time I need to (there will be a little talk for the theater devs. apart at the end of this job). Where are those blessed PRC and Taiwanese 'copters in the db, by the way? I need them. Bah.Have always fun, and don’t try that at home. Ever.
