Gripen for BMS. What do you think ?
-
@Reaperdog1 yes but I can’t do it myself.
-
@Radium nonono, please dont say that. We have some freaking awesome coders in our team about whom you never hear a word. I work more on bug squashing, performance and organization.
Having said that, doing other avionics is on the plan. Its just started, a new coder started doing the separation of the functionalities. I expect to see some progress in the future.

@Seifer
Man it’s the most awesome word said since rumors of new terrain engine.Whomever he/she is, send my best wishes of persistence and strong will. This ground work might be not spectacular itself, but it opens the door for BMS to be so much more awesome than it is now.

Already flying the jas39 Gripen in dcs and living it. Beautiful airplane and a good one to have beide the f16.
-
Hello,
it looks like my poll was deleted from computer versions, that’s really sad.
Well, from the smartphone version, that’s clear that JAS-39C won !
So, I will make soon a JAS-39C Gripen for you buddies !
That being said, I may later make a JAS-39E variant.
Before that, I promised my Taiwanese friends that I will make a ZTZ-96 for Taiwan theater.
Cheers !

@LMR-74 Hello,
You know, Philippines will never get Gripen, sadly.
As I said, I will offer you a Philippines Air Force livery.
But, for now, I only expect to make a Swedish livery for a public built.
Cheers,
Radium

Used to love reading the “Gripen4Canada” blog!
-
@parislord Unfortunately, Royal Canadian Air Force will just be another Wing of US Air Force with F-35.
-
@Radium: Yup, but the blog was excellent reading.

@parislord said in Gripen for BMS. What do you think ?:
Used to love reading the “Gripen4Canada” blog!
I’m reading the blog right now and it is awesome!
As a Brazilian, i’m very proud of our airforce choice (Brazilian Air Force) for the JAS-39 “E/F” Gripen (F-39E/F in the Brazilian Air Force designation)

Hi, Radium. Just to “stir the pot” a bit, I voted for the E as a starting point for-

@Reaperdog1 legacy C is very possible

I spoke to a SAAB pilot, who said his palms were always sore.
I asked why.
He said that he was always gripen the flight stick too firmly.
-
I voted for C model, it’s a cool jet, used by many countries.
But one thing for sure with E model (and Fat Amy too). Pit-building gonna be much easier/cheaper. Just get your old monitor, slap on it touchscreen layer, add on numpad keyboard and half of the pit is done -
About the cockpit of “E” model…
The WAD (Wide Area Display) is a choice of the Brazilian Air Force, but there are configurations of the classic “3 screen MFD” in the Gripen E.
The Swedish Air Force first choice was for the “3 screen MFD”, and later they change to the WAD (same as the Brazilian version)
