Solved DTC Flight Plan Does Not Show in HSD

@zap737 I remember I had a similar issue, try before pressing takeoff to click on the flight in the flights list and then click on your aircraft again. this happens where you’ll click some other flight on the 2d map or list and it would load that same aircraft’s flightplan instead of yours.
Ok I’ll try that but I haven’t been clicking on any other flights. Also I have no flight plan at all when I go into 3D (not some other flight’s flightplan).

Do you start in the air?

DId you save the DTC in 2D before commiting?

100 % yes. I also try to load it when in 3D through the DTE menu.

I had this once, when I went out of BMS to use WDP and then went back into the UI. I must have forgotten to do the click dance once back in BMS. It resulted in me having another flights steerpoints loaded.
Do you use WDP in the process by any chance ?

I don’t use WDP.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have now discovered that is is connected to my input device. Apparently all DX Buttons are being scanned when entering the game and it is as if the switches had just been activated. Therefore my DED is blank for the first seconds (power up) and the Selector knob for my EGI seems to throw off the flight plan. If I disconnect the device before hitting the Takeoff button and then reconnect it after entering the game, everything works fine but the Nav data shifts when I reconnect the device. I have found the workaround for me to set the EGI knob to NORM and the immediately back to NAV again once the UFC has powered up (no need to disconnect the device). This seems to maintain the correct Nav data. This also explains why I never had this problem after a ramp start.

Thanks for this. I should have added in my original post that this happens when I start on the runway for take-off. I have a custom controller I made which has the EGI knob as a rotary selector. I will give your suggestion a try. Thanks again.

Hence my question…

I have now modified my controller, so that the DX Button is only triggered for a short moment when the selector changes position and then is set to off again. This solved the HSD problem now for me.
