VR doesn't start
-
Hello guys, i have Rift S, Oculus and SteamVR software installed. Enabled VR support in config, but when I launch falcon it starts as usual in 2d on my monitor.
Am I missing something?
Thanks -
@Virus
To add…
I have seen in another thread that I should have a VR slider in the launcher.
Well I don’t have it. -
Same as i had until i installed steam vr app. Works ok since then. Make sure the settings for using different apps is enabled in your desktop app.
-
@mastersetter which setting?
I already have SteamVR installed -
@Virus but is it working? Can you load steam vr and look around using the headset?
-
@mastersetter yes of course…it is not that I installed just for BMS…I used a VR headset for a long time (since 2017).
-
@Virus I solved it…by doing…nothing.
Just restarted the PC.
BMS in VR is Awesome (I had the time to try just a simple TE)
Thanks to the BMS team -

I too am having the same issues
I have and Oculus Rift S
Steam VR is loaded
Slider for VR is set to enabled

@Virus wish I could say I’ve had the same good luck. Still no VR slider on the launch screen for me. If you don’t mind me asking, what OS are you using (Windows 10 or 11)? My desktop, the computer in question, is a Windows 10 machine. Same issues as you described about. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled Steam and SteamVR, same with Falcon BMS. Still no joy.
Strangely, I did the install on my Windows 11 gaming laptop. That one works in VR, but only using virtual desktop. Using a link cable with the oculus quest gives me an error, stating my quest is not using the same graphics card as the game. Strange.

@badgermedic76 sorry I didn’t see your post till now.
Anyway I am using Windows 11. Installed both oculus software and steamvr.
