Okay, I am confused now. Do I not see two different models of the F-22? One by Metalhead and one by 611-eagle?
I am a little bit confused about that too…

@611-eagle:
JUST DO IT! I’m over F-4E
Okay, understood WIP yet
-
Keep up the good work man, really nice to see the F-22 model. I am anxious to try it!!!
-
A bit OT maybe, but I’ve understood that the F-22 has a very small radar signature and a relatively big IR signature. (Nice for long range IR sensors and missiles.) Is the specific IR signature of an aircraft part of a data file and does it make a difference ingame?

Hello all.
I am working on the squadrons textures, they are almost done. I hope i did not make anything wrong. The landing gear are almost done. (soon pictures).
I am willing to know how to make the animations for both airframe and cockpit.
Thinking that all animations are based on F16, and most part of cockpit are gauges like airspeed, altimeter, etc, I would like to know if is there a way to make animations in the F22 cockpit using textures.
And how to make the “F16 screens, ded, hud etc” appear on the f22 cockpit?
I noticed in the f16 cockpit Lod format, there are three switches for each switch place, why this?
Is it possible to make rotations on the switches?
Is it possible to make four screen on the f22 working? And where to finf]d good tutorials for animating the aircraft.
I am finding trouble trying to animate the rudders -
Hello all. I found my way to put my 3d model of the f22 as a first test inside the DB.First I threw all my fears inside the trash, and then started to read and open documentation and files and all stuffs.
Here are some pics i got in the test. There are no any kind of animation, and screen don’t work, only the HUD working, but is not transparent.
All help will be very appreciated -
soon more pics.
I would like to make a request, if it’s not any kind of disturbing
can so,eone make a video of a 3d model animated for falcon, and more explanations avout dofs switches etc.
Thanks all gentlemen, and let’s keep this WIP -

Great work until now, keep it there mate!
I hope that some guys with the specific knowledge for cockpits to help you in your minor problems to override them ;).
You are on the right way…
Your friend Nikos. -
I am glad all of you are appreciating this. Thank You.
The most problem I have for now is: How to make the mfd’s working?
I tryed everything. Everything in vain. -

The most problem I have for now is: How to make the mfd’s working?
I tryed everything. Everything in vain. The best advice I can give is to look at the 3dbuttons.dat and 3dckpit.dat of the F-16
… be found in \Data\Art\ckptart\F-16C-xxI dunno how the already existing \Data\Art\ckptart\F22\3dckpit.dat fits your pit,
so I would either modify that file or copy both *.dat from the F-16 into the F22 folder and adjust it’s values.I hope that helps.
Cheers,

Lazystone, Thanks for your reply.
I am reading those documents and trying to understand them every day, every minute, while working in the 3d model.
I added only for test some f4 cockpit modifiers into the ICP buttons on the f22 cockpit. I exported all data using the f4exporter in the utility panel but the result was not expected. missing the location of the hotspots.(I believe this) the result for this was 0 0 0 (ZERO) coordinates.
My 3dsmax lod exporter version does not have some features. I did not find “zbias” and others i do not remember.
the helper “switches”, do not show correctly the descriptions. I need to open at the same time hundreds of documets for reading. It’s time and willing consumming.
I was thinking that the developer known as “Aragorn” made one f22 cockpit for Free Falcon . do you, or anyone know him, and have his email adress?
I would like to send him a message.
Well thanks again and i will be here waiting. (I do not know how long) -

LSI changed the values from the parents used by the models.except the main model and damaged model. I am using the original for now. My 3d model is not ready yet.
I have a question: How to take the correct values ? What are they? Are they coordinates from the location of the parts of the 3d model? -
I hadn’t been aware of this thread.
If you need help with the exporter I suggst you create a new post with the specific problem. Not only will I stand a better chance of seeing the thread but it will also help other.
