Hello folks,
it took a while, but now the EFB for BALKAN is released.
For download see first post. -
@EuKeule Thank you very much. Great work !
-
nice work for me
-
Thank You!
-
Great! Thank you!
-
Thank you
-
@EuKeule, Do you have a plan to release a new version of EFB for 4.37?
-
at the moment I don’t really have an idea what to put in there. Fact is, the checklists will fly out.
The new pdf is so extensive that I will not transfer it to the EFB. -
@EuKeule Oh…No… ;-(
-
@EuKeule would you be willing to put the source files on GitHub so others could expand on your work that was done already? As you already aware of how a community comes together to further code, projects, etc … when someone else doesn’t have the time people out there are just amazing and willing to help out.
-
These are wonderful. Thank you!
-
@Todd1215 I think this is a tremendous idea. No one is trying to take credit for their great work, and this can take a lot of the load off. This is such a great tool.
-
Would it be possible to get a way to easily import info from WDP for the briefing page?
-
@SmeagleGoneWild The Simplest method is to use it on a tablet that has pen capability and write the info in your self or print out that page and use pen and paper. In VR you could use OpenKneeboard along with a supported writing tablet and write directly on the PDF itself. This is also true in nonVR as this method also works. Having some automated push button approach isn’t simple or easy and WDP already does a great job at that.
-
@SmeagleGoneWild I’ve already figured out that this PDF source is a MS Powerpoint file that was converted to PDF. It’s a great idea and I have already converted the PDF back to PPT format but with some gotchas. Some of the tables like in the original briefing are not correct. I currently am using this for my own needs and do not plan on distributing it as another version. If/when the author(s) state its ok to open source it at that point I may do so if they do not provide the source. As you stated, its a great tool and should not be lost.

Excellent
-
Not sure if this has been reported but, the fuel calculation pages of the newest version of these EFB files no longer work.
You can’t input data into the tabs
-
This is really cool! Thank you!
-
Are there a version of this updated to .37 ? Maybe without checklists even ?
