Thrustmaster throttle for sale?
-
Ahum, probably a kind of a weird question, but still:
Has someone a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS - throttle for sale?
I have one, but the Idle and AB tresholds (clicks) aren’t working anymore the way they should be.
Thank you
-
@Nick-san may
a stupid question , you have a wheel on the front of the throttle to adjust the torqe ? Try this -
Easy to fix: http://cougar.flyfoxy.com/mods.php#detents

@haukka81
Thanks for the link, helps me as well -
May not be your cup of tea, but I did this way back in the day (these pics are from 2004, so excuse the bad quality):
This allowed me to have more realistic tilt up for idle and AB. It obviously could be done more aesthetically, I was doing that all in a dorm room.

@Toner Sorry, man. Not a stupid queation, but I didn’t made myself clear enough, ok? The parts inside the throttle that makes the ‘clicks’ AB/Idle Detent possible, aren’t installed (anymore). So, throttle I have doesn’t have the tresholds anymore.

@Snake122 Ok, thanks Snake. I keep this mind I try to find one in the country I live. I know some guys who had a Thrustmaster. To them I made the same request already, but no repsonse from them so far.

@Nick-san
I have some spares from these thresholds -
Unrelated to OPs issue, but thats a really ingenious way of having the tilt outwards functionality of the real throttle, I’d never thought of that before. And I made some pretty ghetto flight sim setups back in the day. Nice!
-
@EuKeule Ok? Is it possible to install them back again? It is, rigth? Interested
-
@Nick-san it is possible to install the detent rings again yes. if you are looking for some I may have the ones from my TQS lying around somewhere.
-
@JUmpstart5179 ow, ok…? so, if you can find the detent rings and they can be used in the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS, throttle, Im’ all ears
-
Hi guys, does anyone of you have the comm switch button by any chance?
-
@Nick-san I would have to look I put them in a bag when I was rewiring it a year or so ago. I can’t recall if there are screws for them. But I will look
-
@JUmpstart5179 copy that. thanks
