Can you read again the picture you posted?
SUNRISE 21:5632Z / 5:56:32 LTWhat does LT stand for in your opinion?
-
@foxpro1960 Sunrise is Local Time so when referencing the sun transition, refer to the Local Time (in parenthesis). I don’t think there’s anything to change here - just needs a bit of thought.

@MaxWaldorf
I undestand LT means Local time.
But once I’m in the cockpit, I’m not in LOCAL TIME, in ZULU time.
Then, morning become night, night becaome morning.I want correct Game Time from ZULU TO LOCAL…

@foxpro1960 Aviation is Zulu Time. As real as it gets
-
@foxpro1960 all of aviation, even civilian runs off Zulu because we can fly through lots of times zones.

Yes since 4.34 or 4.35 version, I don’t remember exactly which one, the Zulu time rules BMS.
How to adjust or correct BMS to follow the LOCAL time in the campaign?
I now understand you actualy would like to have the cockpit time in LT instead of Zulu (in Campaign as well as TE in fact).
Unfortunatly don’t think this is possible. -
Not possible…
-
I understand now “Only ZULU time is applicable in Falcon BMS”.
Thank you everybody to assist me.
-
@foxpro1960 why not set your own watch to local time? thats what i do when foreign. stops confusion.

Surmise time is sunrise time , to read it in local time or Zulu time is your choice

Day is when sun is up
Night is when no sunThose are conventions most of us use
In the UI we chose to display Zulu and LT in order for people to be able to quickly know if their mission will be by day or by night :).
In the aircraft , the displayed time is Zulu time , this is because it is like this in real , again that is a convention in aviation world.
If you wish to know local time in the cockpit you can convert Zulu assuming you know your time zone or you can have a watch with local time on it.:)

Just curious since I haven’t really played with it and pretty much only look at the DED time, I’m assuming the F-16 mechanical winding analog clock in BMS isn’t settable. That would be the only way to possibly way to do what the OP is asking although typically that clock would still be set to Zulu in RL for most operators. But who knows, maybe there is a country that sets the mechanical clock in the Viper to local (but also have a feeling those places have a higher chance of that clock being INOP).

I work on board civilian vessels and we use Local Time for day-to-day life, but UTC time (a less cool way of calling Zulu time) for all data collecting. When I work close to Greenwich Meridian is not a big problem because it’s a matter of adding/subtracting 1-3 hours but, when you are farther away, it becomes a headache. What we do nowadays is having both times on our phones and/or watches. Before that was a thing, it was mental calculations or wearing two watches xD
So I agree with Mav-jp’s advice: have a spare watch or clock around with in-game’s Local Time.
