Solved Strange graphical artifacts following J-20s
-
Hello,
In furball mode in default KTO theater I notice some strange graphical artifacting with the J-20 as seen in these screenshots. It looks like 2 strange dots that follow the bandit off to the side. I’m not sure if it’s because there might be something wrong with the in-game model, or if there’s simply something corrupted with my BMS installation, but I just thought I’d report this in case anyone else can reproduce it since it should be straightforward.
To reproduce, simply hop into an F-16 in furball mode against a J-20.

Apologies, forgot to specify.
This is, once again, in default KTO theater in version 4.37.2. No mods installed.

I have seen this anomaly as well with the J-20 in dogfight mode. I have not seen this in campaign though. I can never get close enough to one in a campaign to verify. I get this flashing M on my RWR and my plane explodes shortly there after every time one is in the area.
I did manage to get a kill on one. He was inverted at the top of a loop and chucked his spear at the same time I chucked mine. (I did not expect him to fire at me while he was inverted it looked really cool in the TGP) I tried to evade but no joy. Hair, teeth, and eyeballs all over the cockpit. Only found out I got a kill from the debrief.

In what other possible relationship with software developers can users claim such quick and responsive results? Particularly in the past year or so, BMS has become (or at least should be) the envy of dev/user paradigms around the world.
