Cougar Throttle Hall Effect Potentiometer - Cubpilot Reincarnated!
-
I have both force sensors and Hall sensors for my Cougar joystick that I never installed. And a Hall sensor for the throttle that I never installed.
If at some point, someone wants to take on the job at a fair price, I’d sure be interested in talking to you about it.
Yes, I COULD do the work myself, but I’d rather entrust it to someone who has been there, done that, and has a clear path to success and even better, a proven track record of achieving success.

@Buzzbomb you have hal sensor yet? I lookin for buy.
Thanks

@gusva try here. You would have to email the gentleman but I have one of his sensors in my TQS.

@scubapics I use his hall sensor, but use a leoboard board.

@JUmpstart5179 Thanks Thanks thanks ! you save my cougar!

@gusva You’re welcome. I ran some of this gambit a couple of years ago with mine.

Has anyone found a source for the cougar throttle ‘rng/uncage’ pot (the one with the press button). ?
-
@Fish44 I know when I replaced the range pot the first time I used a guitar/amplifier pot so maybe one that has a push button would work.
-
@JUmpstart5179 Cheers, yeah pots are easy to get, but have not come across one with a ‘push’ button. Actually have some with a rotary switch, but that’s no good.

@Fish44
My Deluxe American Strat has a push button in the potentiometer, but it locks in place; i.e. it’s either in or out/On or Off, not just a push button for a quick digital input like we want. I’m sure there has to be one out there.
