Btw im trying to use the sound mods , they sound fantastic but for some reason the engine sound is very loud inside the cockpit and cant find a way to get it a bit lower. If someone knows what is the deal would be nice to let the rest know. Keep up the good work Sheref! -

@D3m1aN use the screenshot in zip file for the settings it should be very hard to hearing it.
And you should using the table file inside the sounds folder -

The two mirrors get the same image… yes - the pilot’s body.
But each mirror points at another part of the body.
The left mirror points at your left shoulder, the right mirror at your right shoulder.Remember the Matrix picture when Morpheus is offering Neo the two pills.

I’ve tried your pre-built package, and when I try to use JSGME with the Sound mod it warns me that some file (mainly A/Cs and missiles .dat) will conflict with the JanHas mod (which I’vbe also installed prior)
Is it safe to use both, or should I avoid the sound mod?

Hi @CloudWallace1981.
The use of different models makes that the one may interfere with another. The JanHas models are modifying the *.dat files of the F-16’s in the folder Acdata. I see that the sounds of Sheref make necessary these files to be modified as well. If you want to use both textures (JanHas and Sheref), then you need to open each dat-file modified by JanHas and insert/modify the lines with the Sheref-modifications. It is work intensive but it is what I do if I want to combine different models sharing the same files. Just select an evening of the week when there is nothing interesting on TV and go for it -

thanks, what was my suspect, too. I would like to try that, but as I’m absolutely new to BMS modding I do not even know where to start from. Is some documentation on the structure of A/C .dat files available somewhere? Otherwise I’ll go with brute force and simply open the .dat in sublimetext/notepad++ and parse them all, but I prefer to learn how to do something instead of having to reverse-engineer that
you know how they say… give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish…
