Getting started - how to?
-
Hi,
I’m just starting with BMS. I’m not completelly new, I was flying Allied Force for ages, but it is time to try BMS. Please is there some documentation how to do all properly? From ramp start to laser bombing? Something like used to be in Allied Force - 600 pages pdf file. I have no problem to go through all of it.
Thank you.

Documentation is in the docs folder after you install it or can be found here.

[edit: it seems I need to type a bit faster :D) ]There should be a Doc folder in your BMS dir with well over 1k pages of read
Also you can get same docs from BMS page:

Welcome back, brother…GOTS.

@Mower Thank you. What does GOTS mean?

This is problably the last question in this topic - how do I get rid of pilot legs in the cockpit? I cannot see a big part of side panels thanks to pilot knees, for example they are covering CMDS - Countermeasure panel …

This can be done like this:
In the cockpit: Alt+C, and then P. The same command switches the pilot on again. In the setup in BMS, choose graphics and then unhook Pilot model.
Good Luck flying!

@42ndCSVS_Iceman specifcaly the -Training.pdf has guided walkthroughs for all the training missions.
Also a fellow around here named Prime aka Aviation Plus has a good youtube playlist … some new “getting started” content just in the past few months.
