@drtbkj It is expected that the battlefield in Taiwan Province will be as stable and reliable as the official battlefield. It’s a pity that win11 will be forced to quit every time. I don’t know why! CTD is really common.
Do you have Win 11 and are you seeing ctds? We’ve flown the heck out of Taiwan on WIN 10 with no issues since the last fix
Good day, Fra’.
I am on Win11 Pro, here, and made by chance a deeper test on my (little) own while updating my seven custom TEs I sent you a few days ago.
I sadistically pushed this theater to its limits: it’s stable more than enough, not too bad a job at all.
I have to note that those usual Shihirojishima (hope I’m correct here, my apologies in advance to all dearest Japanese friends) and Hirara Japanese airbases are correctly marked in Mission Commander, but not in the map instead (they are ought to be owned by PRC. Bah, don’t wish to comment.), as in all previous Taiwan versions though.
Please made them kindly fixed once for all, if you can - this can’t be taken seriously,With best regards.

@farazparsa I have the same error, but it first popped up in Nordic immadiately after I installed real world weather and tac view. Now I am getting it in Taiwan too. I deleted both but it may be a clue.

@Cpt_Communist Hi. That may indeed be a clue. I don’t have the real weather but I do have Tacview.
That “Radar Class” exception sounds familiar -
@drtbkj
Further update. I am unable to replicate the crash in kto, ITO, or ME. I have dump log on if I do mange to replicate it, Ill send the file. -
@drtbkj here is my dump file for taiwan. It is easy to replicate because it crashes every time about five minutes in
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aCVXQ2X0jYdOFljQ0iNaM417tdBdb827/view?usp=sharing
-
@Cpt_Communist Good Day, Cap. We got the dump file. What we prefer is you send the crash text file and your auto save file. The auto save is key. The purpose of that is so we can literally your mission and see what is happening atm of your ctd. You see, the bug hunt continues. We’ve gotten a lot of them, but they are sneaky bugs. In the past we have the seen the presence of a F-35A as a factor. One thing we are looking at currently are old sound files. So, if you can share what exactly you were doing at the moment of the ctd, that would be helpful
-
@drtbkj Here you go, should have everything from the logs, all the autosave files, and a brief description of the crash, screenshot etc. If you need more, I have the mission saved and can reproduce the data as many times as needed. Let me know if you need anything else

Good day, mate.
Would you kindly remind me how to set the real weather in Falcon? Your notes made me curious because I guess that issue you remarked might afflict my TEs creating “activicties”.@drtbkj
Task accomplished. TEs (and new customized “ppt.ini” file) already updated, tested and sent to you.
Ah, one more matter: would you kindly see what’s possible to do and fix, once for all, those Japanese airbases I perhaps already remarked as owned (wrong) by PRC in the 2D map? How annoying that. And they are flagged as “Japanese” in Mission Commander correctly, so there is nothing useful to do with it. Bah.With best regards to all.

Hi Gianni. How did you send the TE’s to me?
-
If there’s any plan for the new file structure of WDP for added theaters, I’m a taker.

By email, Joe. Or so I thought, at least.
If you haven’t it yet, please tell me and I will find a way to make you get all those right away. With best regards, Fra’.

Hi, Lorik. I can tell you that WDP(and MC) compatibility is something we test pre-release. By and large, we’re pretty successful getting it to run.

Haha I’m posting this because we’re running a custom campaign in Taiwan. I came to understand WDP needs to be fed with a list of airports data. Tedious work. Won’t do it, we can live without it.

Fine.
But if unsucessful I’d going to send them straight to Ed as an alternative, I’m telling that in advance.
Most important: am I granted to access to that channel, by the matter? I have bad feelings about it.Thanks, Joe, and with best regards.
(ahem… update: I was obliged to send again all those per email - to that common address you gave me a few days ago - due a stubborn Discord internal error, so please Ed or yourself check your new emails there.)

Firstly, let me say honestly that we are honored you are flying our stuff. As for WDP, I just double-checked and except that the kneeboard map shows Korea, it all works fine.

@drtbkj Thank you. Well, to me this is pretty much like “except it doesn’t work, it works”.
Added the map and the theater.xml in WDP, so we can have a coloured map at least. Now there are all the other files in that folder, to have the home plates list for instance, and all the consecutive information on the 2nd left sheet, like TACAN, frequencies… That’s what I’m talking about. Maybe don’t you use it usually, we do.
I use the Taiwan stations file as a texture for kneeboards instead.
