Mapping Mouse Buttons To Orion
-
@Wicked Yeah buy a TM Warthog. :
-
@Kavelenko I have one. Which buttons show up as left or right mouse buttons?
-
@Wicked Why would you want to map your mouse buttons to your HOTAS?
-
@Kavelenko So I can keep my hands on the stick and throttle while clicking switches/buttons in the pit by looking at them in VR.
-
@Wicked @Kavelenko this was added a few months ago, in U1

You rock!
-
@Wicked see also, the new cfg params to fix mouse cursor to center
set g_b3DClickableCursorFixToCenter 0 set g_b3DClickableCursorFixToCenterIfVR 1
-
@airtex2019 I don’t see those options in the key mapping screen. I’m using the alt launcher. I did find the checkbox for centering the cursor. Do I need to bind it in setup? And I’m running the latest update .2.

Do I need to add these lines to the config?
-
@Wicked I think the Alt Launcher does that for you, as you observed.
But you can add those lines to your ‘falcon bms user.cfg’ file explicitly, if you want.
Or you can map a key to
SimToggleCursorCenter
to turn that off/on while in flight, if ever necessary. -
@airtex2019 I had to manually copy in the keystrokes to my keystroke file but it worked! OUTSTANDING!!
Thank you very much for the assist.

@airtex2019 Ah, I see well that makes total sense now, my apologies I’m not a VR user. TrackIR5 user.
