-
Eeh, I do not know, I haven’t found that instruction. Is it possible to obtain instructions from the first post? Just from which step to do differently?
-
I dont have a problem showing you how to do it on TS but it is a lot to type on here.

https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?6030-Bms-F-16-pit-Missing-somethingthe nose can now be seen, also speed brake is at correct position.
includes the lau-129 launcher model from Janhas with 3902.dds
how to install:
0. file name includes parent number of the pit wings, i.e. C25_3106.lod, 3106 is the parent. Most importantly, BACKUP the folder “…\Data\Terrdata\objects”.
1. launch lodeditor, select CT #0 on the left pane. On the right pane, just next to the “normal” button, input 3106 at the text box. Click “normal”.
2. the parent record interface displays. Click the “1” button on the lower right pane.
3. LOD data interface displays. On the toolbar menu at the top, click “action” -> “replace model…”, locate the file C25_3106.lod and yes all the way.
4. Do the same for other f-16 versions. After that copy and paste 3902.dds into “…Data\Terrdata\objects\koreaobj”.
To be sure replacement is good, make a TE and make sure the nose is visible, the new lau-129 wingtip launcher is there.
Have you put the correct DOF on the slots for weapons fluttering?

I did everything according to the instructions and checked for F-16C and D52. While the F-16C is fine, D52 has black wings and nose.

I do not understand the “DOF” abbreviation. As I said I did everything according to the instructions from the 1. post. I wait Cougar to call me on Skype, and explain to me all …

yes JP. i also added one to station 2 and 8…

yes JP. i also added one to station 2 and 8…
There is no support for fluttering on station 2 & 8 as there is no fluttering on those stations except the remaining motion from wing flexibility .
Please remove those DOF as it does not match with fluttering code and external model.
fluttering in BMS is not eye candy but based on scientific and engineering data , please don’t turn it into eye candy stuff

Could anyone help us “LE illiterates” with the black nose and wings for D-52??
I tried to find out how to replace the texures numbers given by cougar on post #24, but I can´t find any of those numbers?
Can anyone at least point us to a LE turorial where it is explaind how to do it?
I have been trying to replace those textures with LE but it is very frustrating.
Thanks in advance

Same here!

Same here!
In the end I could solve the black viper, but using the LOD of Block 40 as stated in #13. It is not the “fetén” solution ;), but it will do until the proper one is posted.
This way puts the wings and nose of a D40 on a D52. I did not know how to use the proper 52 wings and nose and replace the textures instead.
Give me a ring if you need help.

Ok, thanks Chipi. I’ll try that first

Be aware that you will have a 52-D with the nose and wings of a 40-D. i.e. you will not be able to se the IFF interrogator antennas on the nose of the aircraft.

I’ve corrected D52 tex numbers and put a link on 1st post
