Still securing a suitable “new” location.
Tobit is out of the picture.
Could well be we will go back to bare minimums. Just keep an eye on the portals.Sorry for the OT.

Hi Kolbe-49th…
(can I call you Kol? )
Very interested. I just need to see if I am free. I have a tonne of questions to ask you. But - definitely interested. All sounds fun!
Can I email you a “novel sized” list of questions?
Anyone else from UK going over? or anyone from UK gone over before?
-
Hi Cpt Mr Calm,
of course you can ask any question you want. I’m curious about your pm
Until now you are the only procpect from the UK and we had no participants therefrom in the past.Kol is fine for me
Regards

Hi Kol.
It was one of those moments that I thought - “heck … why not… bit far…but lets see”…
Having looked into the flights/car travel its a lot for one weekend. (Friday travelling and Sunday travelling).
Quite expensive too.
I need to look into it further.
Great that people like yourself are doing things like this and I sure wish there was one in the UK. Might have to organise one!!!
Anyway. Will post back soon.
Take care.

Another interested UK flyer here (courtesy of Mr Calm).
This one may be difficult for me to make this time, but a long roadtrip to a Falcon lan sounds good enough to seriously consider next year.
Also seconding the notion of setting up a similar UK event. Do we have many UK based pilots on here?

Any chance the “new” location will be in The Netherlands, where it all started?

How did the lan go?

Was great, same as every year I have been there

Hi,
I am just working on a little review. It’s taking a bit longer because I am updating the LAN website right now but had to switch the hoster first.
I think a review will be available until sunday. -
just fantastic.
First time for me flying multiplayer missions with over a dozen pilots. Plus a special guest, it was a blast…
Gonna be there next year! -
I’ve missed that post. Really nice! Good job guys! … I would love to be a part of it
-
What prevent you from doing so?
-
Arf … my job … I do not even know where I will be the next week … And my German is worse than my English.

Of course
Shortly after arrival:
Our planning table, not used yet.
Some of the printouts. The pilots have to pick
an airbase to start from. Additionally we’ll try
to improve the skills of the pilots by running
some workshops. And some impressions from our first flight.
Lesson’s learned for day one:
Don’t drink and fly
