Unsolved F-15C doesn't fire missile during a campaign mission
-
@ricnunes it happened to me as well. Once or two, symbology was on the HUD, contact was locked, and no missile firing. It’s not all the time. I think it was when I ramp started. I think I had a mix of 120B/C
-
Here’s what I see:
MRM’s ready, target locked on radar and visible in HUD, no extra cues in the HUD though
-
@steve6 You’re not into A/A mode, you’re in ADI mode. Press the ADI red button (to exit this mode), and you should be good.
-
@Croa Cheers!
Obviously missed that bit in the doc - there’s a lot to lean

@ricnunes Are you using the autopilot at any point during a mission where you can’t launch missiles?
I’m wondering if it is stemming from when the paddle switch is used to disengage the AP.If you experience the bug again. Try cycling the physical AP switches to see if that restores missile firing capability.

@DUSTOFF17,
Well yes, during the flight after takeoff and before getting close to the CAP location, I did use autopilot (both ATT and ALT) and I really disengaged it with the paddle switch.
I will try not to use the autopilot and/or not using to paddle switch to disengaged it and will report back, as soon as possible.EDIT:
I can now confirm that the culprit of this issue is what DUSTOFF17 said:- Using the paddle switch to disengage the autopilot!
I made two sorties, both starting from the ramp where in the first one I never used the autopilot and in the second, I used the autopilot but didn’t disengage it using the paddle switch (instead I used the autopilot switches in the cockpit) and I could fire my missiles without any problems!

@ricnunes I appreciate you taking the time to follow up, I’ll forward this to Tiago!
Cheers

As far as I know, paddle disengages only as you keep it pushed. Autopilot is enabled again when you release it. Did you keep it pushed?

Not quite, pressing the paddle switch momentarily will snap the AP physical switches on the left console to OFF.

Different from the F16 then, ok
