Cockpit builder

Good Evening. I would like if it is easy for you to tell me where I can find plans for the cockpit of the F16 C/D
-
-
These are currently the most popular -
https://invictuscockpits.com/products/f-16-cockpit-plans
And note the also sell a full kit -
https://invictuscockpits.com/products/f-16c-cockpit-frame-flat-kit
I have a set of these plans pre-purchased before this webshop set up - one thing that great about set is that they include plans for the canopy frame, and I’m not sure that these do. I fully plan to buy the flat kit once I move…or maybe sooner.
-
There is also a guy on FB called Tejay or Teejay. I’m not exactly sure what the story is but there seems to be some history between that guy and the rest of the Falcon community. I have his plans and the plans from Invictus and ended up going with the Invictus plans.
I do believe that if you do some digging, there are also free plans in ViperPits but I would doubt the accuracy of those plans.
Good luck!

@Atlas I’m trying to register at the vipers pit and in the question what color are the seat cushions I have put the whole palette of colors, do you know what the answer is
-
@dimtom eh… green? I don’t think that was the question I had
Just remember to follow the instructions on the home page. You need to send out an email and your registration has to be approved manually which may take a few days. Just be patient
-
@Atlas I have put. green, black, khaki, olive green and various other colors but nothing
-
@dimtom sorry, pass on that one. Maybe make sure you don’t have spaces before/after the answer? I just tried a mock registration and green seemed to go through.
-
@dimtom - I have set of real ACES II seat cushions and they are about the same color as a nylon flight jacket.
-
@Atlas thanks the answer is green no Green

@Atlas I bought a set of plans from Sy at viperpits a few years ago. While I have not actually started a cockpit with them, I did have a page plotted of some of the center column and the measurements were spot on with the 3d design layout. The files also include the coding information to run on a CNC and are designed with the expectation of suing 1/2" (13mm) mdf.
I finally retired and have framing going on our house which includes a spot in the design for my cockpit after having the plans for 5 years.
Good hunting!

@Chill “Sy”??
Here’s my little project from the end of summer last year. A bit further along now but I don’t have any more recent pics…
