2d map STPT lines
-
About a week ago I was watching a Falcon BMS related video on YouTube, and noticed that the pilot’s HSD customizable STPT lines were medium purple in color, which really made it stand out for me.
Does anyone know how he made that happen? Maybe an undocumented config statement?

@SoBad look at page 255 of the technical manual. Do as it says and copy and paste into your callsign ini file. If you save the configurator, you FUBAR MP compatibility.

Just the info I needed, with much thanks. I tried searching the manuals, but obviously was not using the right magic word(s) to find the info. Thanks again.

Funny , page is #FF in hex.
Just to add-on to @Quasi_Stellar , everything mate said is ok.
But MP story is kinda more detailed. You will only be “blacklisted” (lockedout) on public servers where those MP server checks are in use. checks for simdata, database, etc.
Then really, you will not be able to join mp.But, in some “friendly” server , where those database checks are OFF (via bmsconfig) , eg, your own server … you can still play in MP with your buddies , just be sure that you only have that kind of stuff, “low profile stuff”, edited in “planes.dat” …
Different avionics , “higher intelligence stuff”, could probably lead to CTD in MP - but BMS will mostly work until it encounters some “unexpected” difference in between server / client. So , for HSD colors, you’re good to go even in MP (if customized in “plane.dat” and not in callsign.ini), … JUST on server where MP checks are OFF and there is mutual consensus - not to cheat
Cheers
