Unsolved Losing MFD cursor control
-
Usually, I use A/G radar to spot columns or ground movement, and then hone in using my Targeting Pod.
But sometimes nothing “pops up” via A/G despite intel saying it’s in the area. I’ll switch my SOI to the HUD sometimes and scan the ground ahead for targets, but if I do that and then try to return to my MFDs, my cursor control becomes completely inoperative in my A/A, A/G, and TGP displays. I try every combination of switching Master Modes, TMS Up & Down, and everything else I can think of, but I never regain control of my display cursors for the rest of the mission.
I’m hoping somebody says, “Hey, dummy! Did you do a-b-c???” because I’m clueless as to how I’m causing this to happen again and again.

Following since I’ve found myself with no cursor control on several occasions and wondered the same. If you can consistently recreate the issue, hopefully some of the awesome experienced folks around here can point us in the right direction.

I solved my cursor control problem with the TUSBA R2.

Has happened to me on a few occasions, and sometimes with feverish CZ/SOI action, it resolves, sometimes it CTDs

Exactly-- I’ve tried every combination of SP, CZ, TMS Up/Down, switching between MFD and HUD SOI, switching back and forth from NAV to AIR to A/G-- but once I lose the cursors, I never get them back.

No mention of Enable RDR Cursor?

I should have mentioned it, because that had no effect either, and I know it’s bound correctly to my HOTAS because I use it of course to align my helmet.
