Help with the training manual (BMS 4.33 Training Manual - V 1.00)

Hi Guys,
Does a glossary exist in the documentation where I can find what terms like MFD, UFC, DED, TACAN, etc. refer to?
I’m working through the ground ops TE and learning the ramp start sweeps, and I got stuck after setting A-LOW. Once I had MSL FLOOR set correctly to 14000, I wasn’t able to get out of the A-LOW function to move to T-ILS. The T-ILS button just kept inputting a ‘2’ into whatever field was highlighted between the asterisks. is there a BACK or RETURN or EXIT button?
Many thanks, what an incredible sim this appears to be.

Go into the T.O. BMS1F-16CM-1 and read chapter 1.3 UP FRONT CONTROLS, the DCS switch is what you are looking for. It will explain most of what you need to know about the avionics you need to get in the air. Falcon is a high learning curve and is not something you pick up over a few nights of play and study. There are great rewards once you become more familiar with the sim. I have found that finding someone to help is a great benefit to both student and instructor. Once you get comfortable with ramp start, takeoff, landing, etc; then you might try to find a Squadron that will help you with weapons, formation flying, and multiplayer. Just remember everyone has had the same problems you will go through, and even the experts still have questions that will need an answer. Have fun and enjoy.

DCS RET(URN) <dobber left=“”>to go back to the CNI page and then the priority buttons will work again.
The Hellenic -1 manual has a pretty good glossary section. I’ve been meaning to start up a glossary doc idea with the official doc devs.</dobber>
