WIP: JA37 Viggen

Here are some figures describing current state of my work (FM definition for a clean A/C only, no take-off/landing configuration, no fuel-flow)

Good to see progress! Looking forward to the first beta FM ingame!

Very nice!! How you manage to interpret those charts into something useful in the sim is beyond me, great job m8!!Cheers

Cant wait for this! Looks absolutely awesome and then some…

I am truly amazed by the time spent, the good initiative and the knowledge of you people. This is gonna be Awesome. How is the cockpit made? (Totally new to it so I know stupid question but… )
Also, is there no way you could use information about flight stuff from models of the viggen in FSX etc? Is it really needes to invent the wheel? Again perhaps a stupid question…
In any case. Looking forward to thisone :).

Unlike in FSX, the flight model in BMS will be based on real data, that’s why the ‘wheel is reinvented’
-
Looking good! Keep up the good work!

If you can keep this quality, you may double your 3.71 seconds time to produce a 3D cockpit
Nice start mate!

This is two images of the Tactical Display from 1984
The triangle is the aircrafts own position and the line drawn from the triangle shows how far it will go in 1 minute.
The left picture show the landingbase and runway heading (23) then a 20km line to a “turn in circle”
The right picture show the same except the circle (different landing mode), here the aircraft has gear down and at the down right corner the weight of the aircraft and the referens alpha for that weight is displayed.cheers

I’d rather see a 3D model in stead of a photograph
JK, looking good!
Btw Topolo has finished his first draft of the flight model. Time for testing

Obvious but good choice. I’m amazed by the high quality: almost photo-like. Very good!
