Weapons Description List?
-
Basicly there are only some weapon types concerning on guidance, aiming method and warheads
- dumb bombs
- cluster bombs
- AGM-65 (IR/TV seeker)
- AGM-88 (anti radar missiles with or withot HAD SMS page)
- GPS guided bombs
- IR air to air missiles
- active radar guided missiles
- semi-active radar guided missiles
If you have learned how they can be used the only difference between weapons is their weight, drag, range and damage capabilies. You have to experience their effect.

TacRef … Also in the BMS docs folder, iirc.
-
TacRef needs to be redone. It has all the info needed for the munitions, but the text is cut off by the screen and impossible to read. I’m constantly forgetting which GBU-10 model has the penetrator and the bit of text that says that in the TacRef is cut off mid-sentence.

Thanks. But it would be nice if I could read that in the TacRef.

anybody recall if tacref was like this = truncated since the get go?
-
I was wondering the same myself. I don’t recall from Allied Force (I uninstalled it when I got BMS). I have always had it like that since Update 1.
-
Weapons Delivery Planner has a munitions tab where it shows the details on various bombs. It’s a great tool….although it doesn’t include everything.
-
mine works ok…

Thanks guys tacref is exactly what I was looking for. As they say RTFM but with BMS as usual it is a case of which FM do I need this time! Must look into the WDP as well.
