Custom Modded Folder 4.32
-
It’s not in full install or did I miss something?
cheers
My bad. It was in the new Korea80 install. Found out later that some textures were duplicated. No problem installing Harpoon’s
blk 40 in a unmodded folder. -
Try with New E-3 Sentry MOD… BMS now amazing…
-
Okay which install did this issue occur with. It’s really weird? I have not seen this.
Rthorflech see post 87, Deac84 is correct you must have shadow mapping on or you get this!
-
With all these quality models it would be nice to have add a few “parked” aircraft here and there at airbases
-
Thanks for this great modded folder, I installed the full and I got this problem
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h130/dema75/2013-05-24_232103_zps98d383e8.jpg
It follows me on the ground at low level, looks like an artillery lod segmented.
any suggest to avoid it?
cheers
dema
I am able to reproduce this issue. When shadow mapping is turned off you get this issue. Recommend that you tun shadow mapping on until I resolve this.
-
Thank you Rthorflech, I have not done other tests, since 6 days I don’t fly.
Cheers!

Other graphic issues after using a/g ordnance going to outside view and the plane is invisible look and see…
I cannot reproduce this issue. Can anyone else confirm this happening?
-
sorry , i can….

This post is deleted! -
Okay I’m pulling M1.2 Full up until this is resolved. M1.2 Lite is still available for download.

I want a refund.
Okay send us the modded folder and we will send you a default folder!!(shipping and handling is covered and will take approx 3-4 weeks!!).
You guys can still download the other folder, it still contains ALL of the other mods except the trees and Hybab’s ground models which seem to be the issue. I will upload the other version with the Jan Has trees but without the Hybab ground models. It seems that this problem occurs when changing the damage models of the ground units.
-
some models request to replace textures but those textures maybe r used for other models also… but in your case looks to me as u replaced a model and this is a destroyed model of the ZU-23 AAA ???

Yes. For Hybabs models he also wants you to replace the destroyed models. Replacing those models seems to be the issue. He has 4 or so destroyed lod’s that do not match with the ONE destroyed lod in the db. I thought I needed to create 3 more LOD’s. But because he did not provide any instruction on Parent data or the values for the new LODs I did not do this.

No. You are expected to create a new destroyed parent record for the 4 new lods plus the distant defaults.
An example of what I did for the ZPU-2.
And a link to a set of similar pictures for a u3 install - although your parent & lod numbers will be different (and you obviously know what you are doing) the structure may help.
-
Well I thought I told him so in post #60 not to use the replace method and that was what was he doing for the last update… Probably something went wrong on the process… I have one same issue… with some models… which where ok and now they are fubared… strange like LE automessed up…??? In one I found I forgot the parent… but on the rest I found features from one objective inside another objective… and the second objective is empty…
Nice huh???
wow that link is great Hayab will help me get them back as they should… I have mine also but this is good to verify for sure…
Respect…

“I SEE!!” said the blind man!! That explains why the old destroyed models effect other CT’s!! Thanks for the pointers Ramsay and Arty. Can we get together sometime? I do have a few questions you might have the answer to.
@Arty- you are correct. I got a little lazy and started using the replace mode in LOD editor ver. 6.32. Previously I was doing it the “correct” way with ver 6.31 or something. I was told that the older version was recommended for working with BMS databases and that’s why I did not have these issues before.

Sure, always open to a PM. Don’t expect too much though - in many cases (like the duplicate lod 1 & 2 in the destroyed records) I’ve copied the structure of existing records out of fear of breaking how the EXE works (rather than knowing how it works).
I got a little lazy and started using the replace mode in LOD editor ver. 6.32.
The replace method, for the most part, works for TOMCATZ models as that was how he designed and used his models but he still got caught out now and again by models that shared medium LODs or only had 1 detailed LOD.
Hayab’s models include the lower detailed LODs and destroyed models needed by the BMS Team for a rebuilt/new DB. Some of these are shared, missing or incomplete in the existing u5 DB so need new parent records to work properly.
