Hi Falcas,
What is your opinion on a “clear all” button on the MFD tab in the DTC section of WDP ? I reckon it is not that important though. I was in the unlikely position where I had to manually delete all MFD pages…and started thinking of a button.
Thanks

and maybe a master clear/reset all button on the main page that resets all your tabs, ia steerpoint, lines, mfd, ppt, etc

Hi,
I’ll put it on the to do list.

I had been using WDP for some time although I had not been using it for about the last 2 months. When Update 6 of BMS came out I installed it and last night tried to run WDP for the first time since the update. Now WPD says it “has stopped working.” I uninstalled WPD and reinstalled it again and get the same error message about 3 seconds after your logo appears. Running Win7.
What else do you want to know? I seem to have the same problem with MC so it appears that either me or my computer is the problem. -
Maybe a .NET update?, I think 4.5 is required now.

I updated to 4.5 and also made sure windows did its own update and still no joy.

this is the error message that I get:
Files that help describe the problem:

Hi Sobe,
WDP and MC are using .NET4.0… If you have 4.5 installed it should be backward compatible, but it isn’t…
So have a go at 4.0.Gr Falcas

I reinstalled 4.0 and already had C++ x86 andx64 installed, and when I ran WDP, I got the attached error message. Thanks for your help.

Sorry to keep bothering you but I have no idea what to do next. Attached is a word pic of my files that clearly includes 4.0 and the C++ programs, including the 14 security updates that MS hit me with. I agree with you that the problem is something to do with my computer, but what?

Hi,
What you have installed looks fine.
Do you have and anti-virus that might be blocking the exe to run?Gr Falcas

Did you select ‘run as admin’ when installed. Sometime I forgot to that when install something and it caused problems.

I discovered the problem with WPD. Several days ago, my TM Warthog stopped working and the error message indicated that there was some corrupt fonts. On the advice of Viper37, I copied the fonts from another computer and pasted them in the windows/fonts file and the Warthog worked. I then tried WDP and guess what-it also worked. The corrupted fonts were Ariel fonts. Go figure. Thanks for your help.

I am a little confused when flying in a campaign as to when you can print out the datacard in WPD.

Hi Sobe,
great to hear you have found the problem, I would never been able to point you to the fonts
For printing the datacard in campaign.
Any time you see fit is one answer, but let me get you some more insight.
WDP loads a save mission and gets its data from there.
So any time you change something in your campaign, or step into a different flight, you want to save the campaign so WDP has the latest changes as well.
Just do this when you are about ready to go. Then Alt-tab (I use BMS in windowed mode so I can always access it) to WDP and load the campaign you just saved.
Select the correct mission in WDP and for 90% you are ready to go and print the datacard. Personally I save the datacard as this also produces a jpg of the datacard.
I can access this jpg with my ipad though a network. But only if I am not coding software…Gr Falcas

One of the pilots that I fly with has no C drive and has his drives on other letters (for spam and hacker protection). It appears that WDP will only begin to install on a C drive although you can later install on another drive. Is there a chance that you could modify your initial install procedure to allow the game to install on the H drive?
Thanks -

ThanksWith the installer you can choose the location via the browse option or you can just change the C to an H, that will work.
