Weapon Delivery Planner released

IIRC, WDP cannot read ATIS info properly if the weather settings are set to probabilistic. Try changing the settings to deterministic. This should work.
-
Hi Falcas - another issue I’m afraid… looks like the EWS programs 2-6 are not being saved. Program 1 works fine.
These kinds of things where to be expected when the reading/writing code is completely redone.
Even with internal testing. So thanks for the reports!!!
Fixed in the next update.

For sure a knob’s question, but I find that the wind direction and the RWY in service are not in coherence with the informations in the briefing.:(
Is there a specific operation to do ? or is it a known problem?
Sorry if this has allready been answered, but I didn’t find any answer with the search box.Windblow
This is not a problem at all. WDP does read the weahter data without a problem.
However, if you use “probabilistic” in BMS, the weather is changing all the time.
The word “probabilistic” should be changed to automatic changing weather.
The ATIS is a weather obsevation of the last 30min before releasing the ATIS.
So that the weather is not 100% as on paper… welcome to RL flyingGr Falcas

Thanks EggsNFries. I will try that as soon as I recover my computer.

Thanks for this explanation Falcas. But I fell that a 100 degres changing direction in 30min and in calm and sunny conditions is a little bit too important. Isn’t it?
The same with temperature : In briefing 18 degres and with ATIS 29degres.
The good information is that is probalistic mode, the ATIS informations are not reliable. Important to know that. Thanks. -
If I’m not wrong, it is you who must define the variation values in weather tab.

In the weather part of the mission (BMS), you can see and change the values.
First check the current time of the mission.
Also check the departure time of your flight.
If the current mission time is before a block/part of the day, lets say it falls in the dawn-time, the briefing inside BMS will show you the temp for the dawn-time… say 18C.
But the flight you have selected in WDP is departing an hour later, which might fall during block/part day-time with a temp of 29C.
WDP will get the weather just before the flight, not the current time of the mission.See the difference?

Hi Falcas,
First thank you for this new WDP version, some really nice new features.
Think there is another small issue. The option “save main menu on close” , i think it does not save the values anymore, it does however still read and use values so thats ok.Regards

Hi Falcas,
Just trying to use more in-deep your awesome sotfware.:DI encountered a little pb with modification of STPT values via WDP.:(
After loading a mission in WDP, I tried to modify formation and altitude of some STPT. As in Datacard yellow field can be modified, in the DataCard Tab I modified Formation. Afetr that, I went through the DTC/STPT tab and modified the Altitude value. Saved DTCFirst constat : when going back to DataCard, the altitude is always the old one.
return to BMS, Load the DTC, neither formation, nor altitude change have been taken into account.
What did i do Wrong ?Windblow

Strange one you got there.
First of all… That code has not been touched for years, so why does it do funny things now?
And what is even more funny. The error you are getting… 0.165 is a double…@Wingedsky, thanks for the log.
Will see what I can find.
