Wow! Amazing!! My cousin is Ret.(77th FS) and flew with the Chilean AF as partner in Chile, God Bless and good luck. Thanks to the BMS team for making this happen, I can see this going far and flying worldwide!!

Hi Krakos!
I would like to be part your work. Why don’t we work together and develope a great theater for our region. I really want to fly over this amazing geography.
This is a very big project with a lot of work to do. I’m not expert on BMS TO dev, but I think that I know this region very well, specially north of Chile.
A good idea could be keep the main dev on hold, waiting for feedback from guys who could be interested by this theater and adjust its boundaries according them wishes. In parallel, we could start developing a kind of reduced theater as lab, in order to do some testing with old and new availables dev tools.
Salute!

Hey Krakos - Its cool, to hear from Projects like that. Keep up the good Work
@Joe: Yeah - Lets split the World in two 1024×1024 theaters

Nice nice nice!

Wow this is great from Ecuador. I haven’t looked into theater development, but i’ll be glad to help if c++ coding is needed for it or anything else. I have looked into ecuador/andes heightmaps before for the cryengine2.

This is great news!
I have already completed some Peruvian Air Force skins (Mirage 2000C (new model by Buzzz) & 2000N, MiG29S (model by Tomcatz), Aermacchi MB339A) I could readily share and I’m doing F-16 skins for Chile (HAF F-16C Blk52+ & F-16D Blk52+ with dorsal spine, KLu F-16AM & BM MLU - models by JanHas) and Venezuela. I’m also planning to skin the KC-135 (new model by PumpyHead) and F-5E in Chilean colours and also reskinning JanHas’ C-130 Hercules in Peruvian and Chilean Air Forces paint schemes.
So at least you would have some skins to start with. If this project kickstarts, I’m willing to skin other aircraft as well.
Please let me know!

Sorry, but what are the chances!
Mountainous projects are extra hard not only because they look pretty artificial, there is a lots work involved with height maps in relations airbases, to water and roads. AI planes fly to the ground and did I mention this …theater projects generally take in most cases years to make. Search for Himalayan on this forum. And BTW who would be fighting there and for what? For South America region I would perhaps suggest Falklands - more doable, historically connected and yet …no not easier at all. But anyway do not listen to my “bursting your bubble” post and Good Luck!

A Chilean Theatre was on the works many moons ago for the same region (northern Chile / south of Peru) for SP4 and FF3, I lost the source files since then but perhaps somebody @ PMC still keeps them. Maybe we could use that as a starting point…? I don’t know.
I recall the project didn’t look bad at all, even considering the limitations of the pre-BMS Falcon engine.
Anyway, just a thought.

Hi all,
I am in no way affiliated with this project (don’t know if it’s even ‘alive’ or in the making either), but I would like to showcase a handful of skins I have made, motu proprio, over the course of last year for my own enjoyment (most of which I have already shared with the community - look them up in the modding section if you like) that I would be more than willing to offer to this project if interested (I’d love to add some context and further purpose to my work but that’s just my personal wish, of course):
PERUVIAN AIR FORCE (FUERZA AÉREA DEL PERÚ, FAP)
-
Mirage 2000P (Mirage 2000C new model by Buzzz)
(yeah, decals showing incorrectly in LE for some reason… work just fine in-game) -
Mirage 2000DP (Mirage 2000N BMS stock model by Buzzz)
-
MiG29SM§ (MiG29S izdeliye 9.13 new model by Tomcatz)
(temporary skin, to be completely redone from scratch) -
Aermacchi MB339A (BMS stock model)
CHILEAN AIR FORCE (FUERZA AÉREA DE CHILE, FACh)
F-16C Block 50M (F-16C Block 52+ PXIV HAF LVN2 model by JanHas)
F-16D Block 50M (F-16D Block 52+ PXIV HAF LVN2 model by JanHas)
F-16AM MLU (LVN2 model by JanHas)
KC-135 (stock BMS model reworked by PumpyHead)
I will keep posting new previews here, if it’s OK with the author of this thread. If this piques your interest… just let me know
Cheers to all.

Perfect work like always Christian!!!; thx!
-
Wow, that is some seriously awesome skinning work there!
-
I think I have a copy of the Peru Theater somewhere . . . again have to go digging. It was pretty far along - about like the original Israeli Theater by Death 119 - it only took about 6 years to get that one up and running

Awesome!!
