How to you suggest to increase the intercept missions in order to avoid shutdown of major HAF airbases?
Raising bar in Campaign Priorities Defensive Counter Air and “Targets” - Aircraft will bring any effect or there is another way?
ATO seems to keep insisting generate mostly SEAD missions or suicide strike mission deep inside enemy territory… Need to change campaign parameters to more defensive counter air missions -

I’ve tried your edit (Save0.cam), and can comfirm that that BMS crashed when trying to exit. Also there were too many active units, the map was full of activity, there were flight packages like swarm of bees all over the map. I’ve seen that you changed different F-16 blocks in some Air Bases, but that way there was issue of flying TuAF F-16 block 50 from Greek Air Bases (Limnos for example).
There was Greek Fantoms active so that was a good thing, that was missing@ Cloud9 - I’ve sent you a personal message some time ago, looking forward for your reply

@ Cobra00:Well indeed i’ve put some Combat Groups as well, that might not needed me too i have the crash every time on exit. If i use realistic OOB (wich is not difficult to do) it reduce the airbases to 7 for greek Airforce and 8 for Turkey. I can do that. Also about the skins yeah i have noticed that as well the first time this need a editing in Camo.cfg or reduce the 3d models skin packs or change completely (as i done) the objects and be very presice what to use and where ( as i said i’ve installed JanHas Models) but cannot use for both countries Block50’s for example) this is another work need to be done but needs alot of time free wich i dont have right now.
@Apollo11: Well after 1 or maybe less than one day (i cannot remember well) the engine starts to reduce the SEAD or Strike missions and give more A-A ones and remember you have M2000 wich are taking the A/A role, i dont really know how that can be fixed. I have in my priorities to fix the Ground units issue to go on defensive and go to Central Greece and leave Alexandroupolis and Orestias completely uncovered and it seems that after day 4 or 5 they go on offensive this leads me to 2 conclussions eather the theater objectives need editing (Thanks Arty) as for the fuel and stuff needed to capture them or the tri file (wich i need a lot of reading to do so but thanks Cloud9 you started the fire in me to create something ) therefore after a long conversation with Arty the Theater is builded wrong and with wrong links or in some objectives links doesnt exist at all. As for the sliders in the satrt of campaign i dont think they can be in use much. If you see the PAK map (in the same screen) its completely wrong wich needs wditing also… So as i said it needs a lot of time… and i’m taking small steps cause i dont have much. First step is to fix theater’s issues with Monster’s terrain tool,then use tacedit or Mission commander to fix issues with the units, probably both programs are gonna be needed. I might edit objects as well and i can try (much later though) to give you as Cobra did a complete Aegean Data Folder with Janhas Models preinstalled and some other goodies that i have installed (varius 3d models that i doenloaded from here like ships and ground vehicles). Believe me i will try my best and i might need some (and i will be happy to use) help from anyone here haves a thought or a sollution to get this theater one step further by creating a Awesome campaign for both sides and why not putting some other airforce as well like Bulgaria for example. Cobra00 and Cloud9 every help you got i’m all ears. And every other person want feel free to suggest your sollutions or anything.

@Apollo11: It seems that the inercept missions is something that triggered when a enemy aircraft is a certain radius of the base then you get a red screen telling you to interept the enemy and the sound “alert the crews to their aircraft scrample,scrample” sounds… if you want to intercept them you just click “intercept” button if you choose to click cancel then your base is ruined

The original Aegean Wars Save0.cam also CTD’s on exit, not just Manos1981’s. I’m trying to figure that out.
I’ve been busy with RL, work etc. I’ll get back to you when I get some time.

Not sure. No real crash log appears?

The files are located in - “Add-On Aegean\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj” - folder in the Aegean Wars archive.
Remove “8004.dds” and “8005.dds” and give it a try.

it messed my cockpit…. no joy! Funny thing is that i use the same cockpit In every theater without a problem… so its something else not that…
EDIT2: I loaded the crashlog with visual studio and the explenation is : “the thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address that it doesn’t have the appropriate access” so…
EDIT3: Probably it haves something to do when you fly other planes than F-16 plus in the f-16 cockpit folders there is no 16_ckpit.dat file it in the Ckpitart Folder and it haves to do with the old 2D Cockipit as far as i know… -

I’m agree with Manos1981 about cockpit.From Aegean Pack I only use the Campain folder,and for the cockpit,objects,
the graphic improvement from Tom Catz in every theater without any troubles.So the problem is elsewhere,think I haved
a BMS crash when trying to delete a “save day” . I also notice yesterday a other thing: with the combination of
save0.tri from Cloud9 and save0.cam initial from Aegean Pack,I could’nt add a package to make a own mission.Not even
necessary to try with the save0.tri from pack since after +/- 9:30-10:00 we have a crash . -

Got all the new goodies in the archive - special thanks to Cloud9 for fixing the campaign crashing issue
Have been flying for a while this weekend, done some SEAD and OCA Strike missions in the European part of Turkey from Limnos AB. Everything was good and smooth, no more crash issues for me.
There are still few issues that bothered me - it seems that there were no resistance in the air from TuAF, but probably I need to advance in the campaign. Still TuAF needs to defend it’s air space from the begining.
Wierd thing is that I don’t get a warning from my RWR when fired upon me from Ships and Patriot systems. It’s like been targeted by a IR missile. Still I get the indication that it’s radar is seeing me, but not from a lock on.
So the best thing is keep a distance from enemy ships or you will get a nasty surprise.
Again the mismatched colors of Greek and Turkish side. There’s a way to fix that but it’s kind a wierd so I didn’t include it in the update. Anyway if you want t do that go to: “…Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On Aegean\Optional Features” and open the “Resource BLRD.zip” archive. Copy all the content into"…Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On Aegean\Art\Aegean-art\art\resource" folder and this way you will switch all the colors even in the TE missions which is not a good thing, but can be fixed easily inside the mission editor.About the crashin issue when exiting Falcon BMS - I don’t have that. I quit the sim everytime with no problems. My guess is that this is caused by the latest Tomcatz textures. This happened to me when I tried them few months ago and I removed them imidetly. I remember there was some wierd way for installing them, you had to delete some files and then copy the new ones. The tiles themselves looked good from low altitude but when you go up high, the scenary became very repetative and lacking variety. So that’s why I decided to keep Tomcatz previous work (v2) in this mod - becouse these tiles are easy to install (just copy and replace), there’s no crashing issues and IMHO they look much better than 2014 version.

About the crashin issue when exiting Falcon BMS - I don’t have that. I quit the sim everytime with no problems.
I replaced everything, except the campaign folder and I still get the exit crash. Did you change anything in the Campaign folder? I have done a significant amount of work in it and really wanted to get it to you in a bit, though I didn’t know you were on the verge of releasing an update.
Not a biggie, I’ll continue on.

three if I understood well Cobra00 has include the proper “stations+ils” as prescripted by Neystratiou page 2
otherwise you must do it manually with the field in hotfix2

all I do is install vanilla Aegean theater and then overwrite “Add-On Aegean” folder with “Aegean Wars” pack. I do not change anything else.
The pack contains all the latest updates from Neystratiou, so no need to install aditional files.
I’ve never had any crashing issues on exit with Aegean Theater before except when using Tomcatz 2014 tiles and with Manos1981 “Save0.cam”.
About the update - no worries mate I can update the archive again anytime you are ready, so take your time - really looking forward for your edit of the campaign!

I think its a bug within the theater or something indeed the campaign i made it is crashing on exit, not every time but 80%. Cobra if you like i would stop to continue editing the campaign. I know it will take me some time to do something that will be good enough. But i would love to continue and if Cloud 9 wants i’m here if he haves something else to share with us. As i said in older posts i tried to give a more realistic OOB but still tried to keep some assets like E-3 squadron and some older aircrafts like f-5’s to give an late 80’s early 90’s feeling. Its your call if you want me to drop it or continue.

The campaign file names, Battle for Bosphorus/Battle for Athens, are contained in the above download of Aegean Theatre - BMS converted v1.1, released on 11/4/2011.
The actual date of the theater.irc file is 8/14/2011.
These pre-date any release by FO.

cloud we need a bigger ( ) .tri file only 6 events??? lol it rocks though, but to many sead strikes ar the start (ok i was still ediiting the OOB i even got some D’s in the battle they take care of most of the TASMO and Strike missions) but (again this “but”) I will sugest some ground action (my efforts had failed) like Turkish forces gaining perts of greece or greece gaining parts of turkey. i can send you a .tri file but needs work to be compatible with “stock” Aegean let me know…. Cobra you also NOW have this .tri file… unfortunatelly it doesnt work with 1.1…
