I tried the new Eagles. The polycount of F-15s are way too high to be usable. With current skin they even do not look better then current models. Of course in case I count them which skins level of LESCO or VO101Tom they would be great with considering their skills we do not need 100k LOD1 models. he current model which is using less than ~8000 polys with is about 8-9% of Tom’s model…. The FPS drop is huge even in an empty TE on an airbase in case of two ship flight and focus shadows… Where with stock models FPS is locked at 60 with Vsync with this models FPS was 35-36…
I appriciate the effort but when comes the time when modelers understand the polycont limits which are posted in Modeling Organization thread…? They are existing because of many good reasons. These models never will find way into core DB. Never. You need a supercomputer to run BMS4 even with one new model… Just imagine what will happen if all model has such too high polycount… If you wish to see a well optimalized stuff just check Hayab’s work. With current stuff you simply wasted your time considering in case they are created for Falcon…
Pls. consider this comment as a constructive comment. If you can lower the polycount close to 30k with similar look these model can be ok with a much better skin and of course independent wing & stabilizer skin parts.

But while i’m see the posts by “Dee-Jay” and “molnibalage”, i think is there any possibility to lower the polys of them?
It will be a big disappointment to not can enjoy them even with strong pc’s…

iam familiar with lods but one big file?! how to do it? -
Yes, of course.
I can clean up the Eagles from all the SWITCHES Inside the Cockpit. Can remove the wires, brakes and the mechanics of the nozzles. But I used the models since years without any Problems. And my PC is an old i3 dual core 1.8 GHz with a 1Gb RAM graphic card and 4GB RAM.
But I don’t wanna save polygones any more because There are many many LODs in game and the BMS Engine is very strong.

iam familiar with lods but one big file?! how to do it?You have to merage the DL stuff with DB and skin directory then you can see the new models and you can extract them if you want.

TomWithout reducing at least abot 40k the model it is simply useless. You can see my rig. Even in and empty TE without TGP/MAV screen literally flatten the FPS while only focus shadow and heat blur were turned on in CE and everything other were off or the lowest setting… With your models after I clicked on munitions I had to wait about 10-12 sec to load the window. Can you guess why…? If a model is not loaded within 1-2 sec means the polycount is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high for BMS4.

Next I want to present is the KC-10.
It is an low poly model an build in 2011 for FC1. My squadron asked for a better looking tanker because the stock ED model was very “edgy”. After some tryings for refuling in BMS I realised that my tanker could be usefull for BMS. and so I exported it…After some approaches I found out how to animate the lights. A nice Detail is the Boom operater insade the gondel. When you have the exact Position you will see his face. In backround of the Cockpit is an Tera Patrick wallpaper and some other objects…

My MiG 31 was an low poly Project for BMS. I`ve tryed to use less polygones as possible and Show Details with the texture Only. It was a nice experience and I think that These one Looks very good.
These fighter have a strong phased Array Radar and Long range missles. And ist very fast so hard to fight everytime…

FWIW, I get 70-80 fps in these screenshots and 35 fps on busy airbase.
Try it in a campaign…
What were your CE settings…?
Believe me I know when is useful a model and when is not… -
In FC2 I flew the Su27 only. I Thing that is is still the most beautifull fighter in the world. Strong russian power, powerfull Sensors and with R-77 very dangerous Missiles against other fighters. And big just like an B-24 in WW2. A imposant Beauty…

The Kuz`was builded in 2006 - It was my very first ship. Yes for FC1. After landing on the stock ED deck the model needed to polish up. And so I did…
It was very interedting to learn more about the russian Ships, technics and weapons…
in BMS of course without that Sea-Flanker and Persons on deck and Tower…

TomJust know that future version will be certainly much more demanding (especially in terms of memory for textures) … non optimized models could suffer from much more FPS hit than now.
But I’m not 100% sure about that … will see in 3 - 4 weeks.

What were your CE settings…?
Believe me I know when is useful a model and when is not…Busy air bases 35 fps were in campaign. What is a CE setting? I have everything maxed out and turned on. I lose about 10 fps in campaign and busy AB. This is flying in an F-16 cockpit not an F-15 cockpit as in the pictures, if that is what you are talking about.
