Is Falcon BMS close to the real thing?

Tank Enerting
Max Power switch
accurate pre-flight flight control bit tests
realistic jamming/functional ECM panel (we are not getting that for a LONG while for security reasons)
nuclear consent (why bother)
jammer detection FCR mode.According to a BAF crewchief source, max power is non functional.
Used to be permanently working, but pilots had a bad habit of testing it sometimes. Even if used just for a second, it required mandatory engine review etc. So they disconnected the wire in peace time. Latest info to me says it hasn’t been reconnected again ever, even during ISAF/Libia etc. -
Yep, confirm ;).

jammer detection FCR mode.Yeah both of these are the kind of thing you need a T.O. 1F-16CM-34-1-1-1 to even think about implementing. Then, considering that if you do implement it, any American who torrents the game would be committing treason under the Arms Export Control Act… I wouldnt hold my breath.
Id like to see INFORMATION about the CIU-9492, let alone see that information make it into BMS.
What is the name of the FCR mode you are after?

If you search eBay there are a couple Russians selling some much more interesting stuff…

What about maintenance books? Pre flight checks and walk around. Ground crew. True ROE.

I think this is a little off topic, but in short, I think BMS’ maintenance is pretty close to real thing, at least as far as what the pilot can see.
Pre flight checks, obviously not as IRL. Ground crew, same. ROEs, same.
didja mean to put this in the IFF you could have this in 4.33 thread?

Nope. I said it light-heartedly.

BMS 4.32 and specially updated 4.33 is close as it gets…. there are some things that could be implemented ,improved these could be done in feature … The Falcon4.0 BMS is the only realistic F-16 simulator before military Advanced Training simulators like MetaVR F-16,Arenalogic e.t.c and in some things BMS is better of those simulators.

How do you know what’s in 4.33?

4.32 is close as it gets right now … the 4.33 do you think would be not be better… ?
i consider the work have been made from many many BMS forum members-enthusiasts for better BMS software in all aspects , code, gfx ,tools and 3d models… thats why i am telling this… i am happy that the spirit become bigger and bigger for help in order ALL to have better results!!!

Okay I see … I think they call that intellectual masturbation lol !! But yeah I agree with you.

I think the comment about -intellectual masturbation lol !!- it was not necessary, or maybe you have that type of thinking ?! lol.
over and out!!!

Looooooool some would say that this is typically me !!

well till now I haven’t seen any bloopers from BMS so a bit of intellectual masturbation is ok or u could call it blind faith on it.
The fact alone that they r just a bunch of friends that brought this to life and they are the best compared to commercial products says alot.
Last when u see real fighter pilots so excited with it and giving them the potential to use it not as a game to pass their time also says alot.
