Livrot Mic Command - Preview Release
-
Livrot,
me again .
Is it possible that TARGET software can blind LMC?
What I mean is :
without target running, I am abble to affect DX button as hotkey, but as soon as I run TARGET, device disconned is displayed.
If I try to re configure the hotkey with target running, your soft is always waiting for an event …… nothing is registered.
Any tips ?I am playing with the editor : really powerfull.:D

Looks like target eats all joystick / throttle events away from the input stream. Or takes full control over the device itself.
Nothing I can do about that. But, if someone has an idea about this I will try it.
I am using Rawinput for mouse and keyboards.
I could not get the HID rawinput working as it should - I would need a link to a good HID documentation.
So I went over to Direct X and now I am using DXsharp.dll for the DX events. But I am not sure if target just eats it all away.

I decided to add a fast solution for placeholders so that we can use a new and more realistic speech recognizer for 4.33 (when /if it comes out) or even earlier.
Maybe even loading a specified file (briefing) and find the airport (for the tower) and (callsign) automatically. (just press a hotkey - ‘refresh placeholder’ or so) best case though.
-
sorry for the q but couldn’t catch up with the new posts in the thread. Is the thing I asked ready? Meaning start listening by default and no need to assign a keystroke? Or press a button in the app to start listening before entering falcon?
-
check the first post for news always.
If you configure your settings to ‘allways on’ and ‘auto load profile’ + ‘start minimized’ you only need to start LMC and your set. no further clicking.
If I may suggest: check it in windows mode first with the screen overlay (log) configured to have some visual feedback if you use a new command list.

Im doing something wrong… when I run it, the commands it should be sending to falcon dont happen - if I open a notepad window it will type the commands into there, but in falcon the commands just dont happen.
Additionally, the Escape button when used as the stop recording key, no longer works in falcon for me.
-
Well, maybe the freeware version output must be changed, i thought it would work using sendkeys but it looks like it must be send input as for the makros.
Right click on the ‘stop’ hotkey button and check the ‘temporary eating’ checkbox, as i replied before to you. Please read my answers
Thanks.
I’m sorry but in fact I use you all as beta testers, it seems
But the coin has two sides as always, you all have great influence on the program. Just tell me what you would like. -
Gents, please excuse. I made a big mistake.
The html connection strings were still pointing to the test website.
A new corrected version is out now. Please download it directly from livrot.com using your log in credentials.
DO NOT use your versions ‘check for updates’ / ‘go to livrot.com’ buttons.
I will disable the test site now to avoid further confusion.
Please excuse these shortcommings of mine and I hope the confusion was limited to just some of you.

Done.

Okay, just downloaded the newer version. When I ran it, it said I needed to input my credentials, so I put in the same details I used on the site. It came back with an error: not enough hardware information to register. contact livrot.com.
Have I missed something obvious again?
-
I just checked here and the latest version works for me.
It uses the same routines as before. Are you runnnin windows on linux now?? That will not be accepted by LMC.
If hardware info is not enough to create a license key request you get that message.
Did you uninstall completely before? -
I didnt uninstall, at that. Im running windows in what I assume is the normal manner, by installing it from a disc…
Ill try deleting the old folder completely and starting again.
EDIT: I uninstalled the program using the control panel, then installed again. I still get the same error. How can I see what hardware info I have??
-
Registry Keys, Driver Info, …
These informations are not saved on the website. The website uses these info to create a valid key for your machine.
If you have made a backup of your first key, it should work until you change three hardware components.
(GFX card and bios update is okay.) Then you need to use up another license key (you have three per update).I will look into this tomorrow. If it worked before and now no more … I did not change any of these routines. Maybe a ghost.
-
Well it did not ask me for a license key before!
Now that it is asking for a license key, it says that there is not enough hardware info. Ill try running it as an admin and see if that fixes it…
Running as an admin, it still tells me that there is not enough hardware info. can I look at my registry to see what information it would be looking for?

No. The copy protection mechanics won’t be diclosed.
The freeware version needs no copy protection and does all you need for BMS.
For me and others the full version works well.
If you have some special tools running in the background that obscure your registry or whatever might exist out there, I can not help you. What is the Version number of your download ? (file and if different log info at the beginning)

Hi Livrot,
Just caught up with this thread and your software and it seems very nice! Thanks alot for sharing it with us, man!
Could use a little help thought.
I’ve installed it and loaded my shoot profile. The recognition works flawlessly and, testing it on a notepad file, it types in all the commands.
But when I jump in the pit, the first command I give forces the sim to jump back to desktop (without CTD) and does not apply the commands in the sim.
I’m using the “listen once” and the “always listen” mic commands together.
Could you point me in the right direction?
EDIT: just found out that even in the UI, if I give a voice command, it also goes back to desktop.
Thx again for a wonderful piece of software, mate
Cheers,
Nuno

Hi Nuno, thanks for your kind words.
Blu3wolf reported same thing. I will change the plain text output to the same as makro output. It will solve the problem I bet.
Might take a week though cause I’m very busy, atm. You may try the full version if you want. Please excuse the inconveniences.
btw:
The ‘always listen’ checkbox overrides the ‘listen once’ checkbox. In the future the two radio buttons disappear when checking always listen.Livrot

1.0.140905 beta. No tools to obscure the background, and an almost fresh copy of windows. was formatted only two months ago.
Im glad the freeware version does all I need for BMS, but at present at least it doesnt do any of it…
I guess Ill give you my machines hardware info and you can tell me if its an OS incompatibility or whatever.
Im running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. Windows is activated. Core i7 960 @ 3.20 GHz. 12.0 GB of RAM installed. 6 various HDDs installed, using AHCI. GTX 580 SOC Gigabyte graphics card. Two samsung monitors connected. Varying joysticks and panels depending on what I am running at the time, through a 7 port USB adaptor.
Im not going to include a copy of my registry here, however.
I also note that trying to use the username and password ‘asdf’ gives me exactly the same error about not having enough hardware information.
