YouTube tutorials vs written tutorials
-
One of the things I’ve been doing of late is re-learning how to utilize the HARM via the HTS system.
I was going berserk trying to figure it out from the BMS documentation, and had to resort to (especially Krause’s) YouTube tutorials. Unfortunately, as far as I’m concerned, Krause’s tutorials go into painful (boring) detail describing the systems being taught.
I prefer written tutorials because I find it easier to learn as I do (paper in hand, sim running). Are there any out there?

Well… I guess we all have to thank everybody DOING such things as tutorials because they make our life a lot easier.
It´s always your option wether or not to watch “painful-boring” videos or Reading docs, without the need to critic them as they are always wellcome contributions.
Maybe it´s a good moment for you to do your very own written tutorial about that topic, and share it with the comunity!!! Dare you?

Have you got a copy of Krause’s “Cheat Sheet”? It’s a simplistic step by step description for each type of weapon deployment (A2A & A2G) of what switches to push or flip, slewing to target etc and might be useful in conjunction with or even in place of his videos

Both. Some need text some need video.

Good idea, agalnov. It’ll force me to learn how to utilize all of the systems, then write about their use in a coherent fashion. It’s a challenge that’s hard to deny.

I’ll be first in line to download! So whadya think… 3… maybe 4 hours for the link?

i personally like krauses tutorials. it is easier for me to watch what buttons he pushes in a video, then go into the sim and do the same thing. thanks krause keep them coming
