Add / remove weapons in BfB theater or any other theater ??

Yup, I tried with a new campaign, but I’m not sure I did the things right !! That’s why I was wondering if someone could tell me how to do withF4 Browse or the editor !!

You have to go to the Squadron Stores section of F4Browse and depending on which version of the F-16 you are using find it in the squadron stores section. The standard American F-16s block 40 and up use squadron stores number 63 I believe. Find the weapon type in there and double click on it and change the number. max is 200. Then update it.

Next you will need to update the stores of squads in your .cam files or use a early save file ,use Mission Commander.

Thanks Shadow, but as I just finished and won my first Korea campaign, I was just about to start a new campaign, so no need to edit cam files
BTW, I managed to add the agm-88 in my squad stores thanks to your help !!
But now, next step is to add the HTS … on what hardpoint is it ?! how can I add it back to my squad stores please ?!!!Kalonji

HTS is not part of stores. Its part of the Airframe. Almost all F-16 in Korea can be equipped with HTS but don’t necessarily carry AGM-88.
I would suggest not Modifying any F-16 load out or airframe as it will put you at odds with others if you fly online.

It is the other way around. All F-16s can be equipped to carry AGM-88s but don’t necessarily carry the HTS pod. Only F-16s to carry the HTS pod are the Block 40, 42, 50, and 52 F-16s. Block 32 and lower F-16s can be made to carry the AGM-88 but use different sensors to acquire and fire on the targets.

Blk-15 is the only one not set to carry HTS. Look at the FMs for your self. Or create a TE if that’s easier.

Correct….the HARM can use the HARM itself as a sensor. The HTS pod is set up to be installed on the CCIP updated F-16s…primarily the F-16C 40, 42, 50 and 52

We are talking about ingame here not “RL” so why come and confuse/sidetrack the thread.

Just look around in your KTO Data/Sim/Acdata folder for AC which do have the HTS, you should find out very soon.

also, If the HTS is not on the model you are trying to get it on you have to add it. I did it once with the Jan Has models but I can remember the exact steps. It is a switch in the 3D model. I want to say switch 11 and switch 12. Switch 11 being the Sniper Pod and Switch 12 being the HTS Pod.

1. Save a back-up copy of the SAVE0.cam file.
2. Start TacEdit.
3. Open the desired SAVE0.cam file. Do not rename or save. Will not work with a saved campaign.
4. Select Units icon from left column menu to display a list of all units in the campaign.
5. Click on the column header to arrange the units alphabetically.Then:
2. Double-click on the desired squadron to display the Squadron details window.
3. From the Squadron Page tab select the Stores button.
4. Scroll the list of stores and double-click on the desired weapon to display the weapon count window.
5. Change the count number, remember it and click OK.
6. At the Stores window click OK.
7. At the Squadron window click OK.
8. At the File menu select SAVE AS and save as SAVE0.
9. Start F4Browse and select the theater terrdata\objects\Falcon4.FED file.
10. From the left list select Vehicles/Aircraft
11. Select the List view icon from the toolbar.
12. Double-click on the left column Squadron to display the list of squadron types. This list may differ from the actual squadrons in the campaign.
13. Find the aircraft squadron type, F-16C-52, in the list and double-click to display the Stores For Fighter window.
14. Scroll the list and double-click on the desired weapon to display the Stores window.
15. Enter the same number (item 5.) as before and click OK.
16. In the Stores for Fighter window click UPDATE.
17. Search the Squadron list again for any other instances of the aircraft type squadron of interest (F-16C-52)
18. Repeat steps 12 - 15.
19. Close F4Browse.Good luck.

I’m trying to add the GR4 to the Balkans, I don’t get any units populating in Tacedit, am I missing a step? Everything else seems to be there.
