That’s an A-7D though
loved those Guard Corsairs back in the day!
Are there any major external differences between the USAF/ANG D models and the USN/HAF E/H models?
If not then we could also use this fantastic model for an A-7D and incorporate Guard Corsairs in any 80s and early 90s campaigns? Can’t wait to see this thing drop a boat load of Mk82s in game!!!

Greek -E didnt had any difference with US Navy’s ones exept the catapult thingy and i think the Landing light. -H had some differences they didnt had the refueling probe and some systems wasnt in them, -D on the other side had some external (i believe internal as well) differences the rfueling probe also gone and they had a refueling door on the left upper fuselage behind the canopy and they had an IR (i believe correct me if im wrong) pod just under the intake. Those two for the D are easy to make and for H is easy also i will just delete stuff
Oh and H and D had the old Escapac ejection seat as far as i remember. I dont know if in D they ever changed it…

That’s right, A-7H was pretty close to E navy’s model except the inflight refueling capability she didn’t have and an electricaly started gas turbine engine starter (taken from the D version)

Yes, except for the 16 first A-7D that always had the refueling probe.

That was the TISL (target indicator system laser)

Thanks SEG i said for the H that they didnt had the refuel probe therefore Greece got another 63(i think) Aircrafts directly from the US Navy that was unchanged E besides the catapult connector in the front gear, by the way i loved their paintscheme when arrived its classic sea camo but it goes way lower than H it seems if u see the plane from the side like a wrap around but unfortunatelly later they painted them with the same camo as H
-
I agree this camo is the best for HAF E ever ….(like a wrap around )

So u finished the mission, returned to base everything cool i guess…. wait… there is a problem… how the heck you will get out of the plane??? Manos has the solution heheheh… When opening the canopy you got the steps open the ladder door open and the ladder coming down
cheers
EDIT: Now i have a nightmare to overcome once again [emoji14] THE FREAKING LANDING GEAR…. its always a nightmare to rig them… i believe the most difficult part of all…

Very good model Manos!
That’s really great you could have got Razbam permission to make this!
Their model was really great, they made a great job on FSX.
Do you expect to use their cockpit to make something flyable in BMS?
They also made a nice geeek texture!

Ahem. Its Iris model not Razbams. I used razbams to tell the truth as reference to add details. Many parts are made 100% by me. Thats why the tri count went too much as for Phantom i made. And if u look both models Iris a7 and Razbams are very simmilar i believ some how razbam took the Iris model and upgraded it to what we see in FSX/p3d. Even the arrangement of the textures is very simmilar.

No problem. It was free model nowadays anyway. And i got from them the license to edit-port it to bms by the way. To the devs of bms… i made an experiment today and managed to get it in 35400 tris and without many losses in the outcome

Im thinking of making also a AN/AAR-45 Flir Pod as well make the external fuel tanks as well… Ok the fuel tanks i can use the model’s but the Flir pod it has to be made from scratch i will need references people

The LANA pod is a mandatory gadget along with this bird!
-
Front gear ready i guess…. It wasnt too much difficult as i thought
On with the main ones now…
Edit yeap i havent added the catapult thing yet… I try to figure out how i can make it work…
-
work of art!!! Thanks for your efforts for F-4 and A-7!!! Keep the good work!
-
Well the main Gears are giving me a headache…
-
You prefer F-1’s gears? lol
-
You prefer F-1’s gears? lol
Well…. No but ok… its not too much easier than the f-1’s. The problem is there isnt some reference video or something to see…
. Its not that much the way they get down as much as the shock absorvers work…
EDIT: In Blueprints site, i found a blueprint that shows the main landing gears in “compressed” state and “expanded”. it seems as it shows to the schematic that all the main struts, or the whole system if you want, are moving up or down depending on the pressure of the weight. That is my main headach right now and i want to see how i can make it. I think also the F-16 main gears works like this? I might reverse engineer the f-16 ones and find the solution…
