Any iOS BMS apps?
-
The only one I know of is Ihopi’s ICP and RWR

Here’s a couple -

I also find it VERY useful to take screenshots of the checklists, airport diagrams, approach plates, etc. and store them in Albums as .jpeg in Photos via iTunes. There are also some useful gamepad and computer remote control apps in the Apple App Store that can turn your iPad into a track pad/keyboard - very handy to use sitting in a cockpit.

IFlyBMS for iOS looks good. Like the Android’s Flightbag

Reading the install doc, looks like it requires 3rd party software and BMS mapping.
Kinda lots of effort. -
I noted as I posted that Ice wrote it…our Ice? Dunno…but in general, getting an app that hasn’t been through the App Store vetting onto an i-device is always going to be a hack-job.

A bit of a necro, but…
I’m working on ironing the kinks out of Ice’s iFly BMS profile for the TouchControl app. It was never properly finished, and needed to be updated for 4.33.x anyway, so it’s taking me some time. But it does provide a much better interface with better use of screen real estate on a full iPad than the simple (but effective) ihopi app.
There will still need to be about $10 in apple store and in-app purchases, but I’ve already found it worthwhile and I haven’t even finished fixing the profile yet.

Why taking pictures?
Use a PDF reader like “GoodReader” and transfet all the chart in .pdf into it. You can even sync a folder (could be your Briefing folder and or WDP datacard folder) on DropBox and access it thought your iPad or more simply, upload any .pdf (or .rar/.zip for a package of .pdf) via wifi ino “GoodReader” directly using your Internet explorer, Mozilla or any other web navigator.
