@TOPOLO no need to do that… I have it installed and it works perfect! Thanks @VIPER-0! I have follow step by step the Jan Has explanation and it works!
I am very happy to have helped bro, health and good flights.

Just one thing… I don’t know if i screw something up, but the missiles is kinda “glitch” and missing the pylon…
@Radium any hint on that?
OFM file still need some love (loadout, vapors, landing gear height…), but data have been shared with Radium, so I guess next package will fix that

Hello everyone !
Thank you for your comments and for the community support that was offered ! I like community works and I am happy that people here share their knowledge
I am currently hardworking to finish Ukraine Su-27 variant that need much more work than simple liveries for the following reasons :
First, Ukraine segment livery is not simple in term of references and adjustment of straight lines need a lot of do and redo.
Second, this Su-27 is a multi variant model. It means that with one model, all the different liveries will apply. So, because I want everything dynamic, it’s really difficult to coordinate every need to have something compatible :
- upper tail serial / lower tail serial
- PLAAF license plates/VVS Ukraine and Russia license plates.
- J-11 specific antennas and gear cables that shall not appear on VVS Su-27…
- specific Ukraine squadron markings/OKB Sukhoi markings for Russia VVS…
As you see a bit nightmarish because everything on the same aircraft.
Beside that for Ukraine Su-27 I did it will do some additions :
- specific pylon assembly for AGM-88
- specific pylon assembly for JDAM-ER (US/Russian adapter which I have a picture of, and a BRU-33.
- new model for JDAM-ER.
- BRU-33 and AGM-88 were static PBR enhanced.
For this last one I need your help. I have no evidence of what Ukraine uses : BLU110 or MK-83.
I am pretty sure that it is MK-83 but I need your opinions :
Stay tuned !

Nice Work!

@Radium maybe these article would be useful for you https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/winged-jdam-smart-bombs-are-now-operational-in-ukraine
According them, the bomb’s body could be MK-83
-
They are already being shotdown., at least in 2 cases.
@Dardo_01
Ukrainedoesdid not not have/use any mk80 series. (if not already imported by now, from eu, … as shipping’em across sea is … at leas not so smart:) )
I’ve heard different story, kits will be used on fab’s. and, it makes more sense. -
@white_fang How exactly would you fit a JDAM kit to a totally different bomb then it was designed for, and expect it to fly with any precision? Seems pretty ridiculous to me. They have no doubt designed a pylon adapter and are using the kits with Mk-8x bombs. Just like they did with the HARM.
-
@SOBO-87 that’s the beauty of those systems…they’re extensible to any explosive they can attach to, caveats being:
- Whether the bomb can reasonably be affixed with the JDAM kit
- Whether the bomb has a CoG that agrees with the kit
- Whether the aerodynamic properties of the bomb agree with the control surfaces of the kit
I hate to say “its not rocket science”, but, it’s bomb science

Hello everyone,
Thank you very much for your comments and help, here is my decision :
I like to go as deep as possible to understand a situation. Here, JDAM-ER kits were officially delivered to Ukraine by USA.
JDAM-ER is a very complex ammunition that incorporates a gliding capability therefore, an extensive aerodynamic work must be done before adjusting this kind of kit to a new bomb.
Except if I have some proofs about it, I don’t think realistic to imagine a FAB500 for exemple, because the fins are incorporated in the whole ammunition while MK8x series all have a bomb/fin/ fuse separation which does not exist on FAB500, and it’s the same on FAB250.
Because we are here talking about emergency solutions I believe that USA went to the most simple solution : Mk-83/JDAM-ER that was already validated within USAF (even not widespread), but also RAAF (also not widespread).
So , considering these points :
- MK83/JDAM-ER will be deployed on my Ukraine SU-27
- BRU-33 will be used with an adapter to fit to Su-27 casual wing pylon, like US did it to fit AN/ASQ-28 on some export Su-30
once I finish Ukraine package (probably Friday night) I will move to PLAAF J-11 and I will do LODs.
Late blue/grey/green livery for Russia VVS is for now now considered anymore because it doesn’t seems so widespread : I haven’t found two pictures with the bath fact same livery for now.
I hope to publish v1.0 on Sunday night French time or Monday evening.
Best regards,
Radium

No m8. There’s legitimate doubt in this case. (I am the witness, so…)
Just like they did with the HARM.
Well not exactly similar, but in this manner., you answered it yourself.
But… will postpone any further discussion 'bout it until some evidence, if…, comes to light. Can’t exactly trust only/any one source… time will tell.
Even almighty Radium can be wrong sometimes (I know I can) -

@Radium do you see the glitch in the Su-27 pylons? I’ve post some prints that shows this “weird” position of missiles on the Su-27
Thanks for your work and effort!

@Radium I have fixed it

@Radium said in Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35 Shenyang J-11/J-15/J-16:
which glitch are you talking about ?
As you can see, the missiles in the right wing is kinda of “clipping” and missing the pylon, and there is an pylon “flooting” behind the AA-10 when you use the right under intake station.
And when you add 2 AA-10 in the center line, it just appears 1 without the pylon.

@VDK Hello, this is ungoing, new files will be ready for v1.0

Hello everyone,
I am very happy to share this :
I am very happy to have completed Ukraine livery !
It was very difficult, but the result is quite good.
Because I like it, I made some pictures with AGM-88.
More to come !
