Choppy voice audio
-
I am noticing that some of the voice files are very choppy when joined together and part of the first word is missing. Before retiring I developed and ran an audio department that created voice files that would join together seamlessly by a computer program. Of course a lot of the seamlessness depends on the way it was recorded but I did develop methods for accurately timing the front and back ends of the files so that the edit point were consistant and included the full word with the proper spacing between previouos words.
I still have equipment (proTools) I used for this work and would be interested in speaking to someone who works on the voice files to see if I can be of some help in making this sound better.
I can’t find any list of developers on the site yet, so if someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Its now common to see/hear documentary type youtube videos that have a vocal track clearly created by text to voice conversion. For the most part very acceptable but would very much improve with the techniques you describe. Clearly commercial text/voice tools being used but apparently could be a LOT better from what you say.
If somehow/some day you are able to improve what must be much simpler glitches (or at least fewer) in this sim that would be good indeed. -
There is always room for improvement, but after listening to all those numbers they (AI) call out on the radio, I am always pleasantly surprised at how natural and conversational it sounds.
