ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing
-
You need to put the executable into the acmi folder.
-
You double click it to start It’s a console application that runs minimized. So there is nothing to happen yet if no recording flt files are in the folder.

Yep, following all the OP instructions

Hi there !
I updated the Compiler to version 1.0, officially releasing it as a “stable” version.
You can find the latest version directly on the Github page :
https://github.com/loitho/acmi-compiler/releases/latestI only added a modification for an edge case suggested by a Github issue.
You don’t have to update your version if it currently works for youJust wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that’s using the software and that helped debugging it.
Have a good day !

Hey there !
Soooooo turns out I could optimize even further the compiler.
PLEASE UPDATE TO THE 2.0 VERSION
Direct link
Lastest releaseThe ACMI Compiler now :
- Compiles around 10 Times faster than BMS 4.34
- Uses way less CPU ressources than my “old” 1.0
See this chart for comparison :
Ryzen 7 3700X 8 cores / 16 Threads - 32 GB of DDR4 RAM / MX100 SSD
Big thanks to BibleClinger and Johku.
If you’re curious about the details of the optimization, I’ll update the first post with them
PS : If a forum mod could edit my topic from “[Beta] ACMI compiler” to “ACMI compiler - Don’t wait when exiting 3D” that would be lovely please and thank you

Outstanding, thank you!

Amazing! Keep the hard work!:woohoo:

What VC runtimes does it need to be installed? It asked for VCRuntime140_1.dll and I could find VCRuntime140.dll on my system.
Think I have the 2015 version installed on my systemCheers Obi1

From my program with similar requirements: although already present on many system Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 (click link) is required. Normally only the x64 version is needed, but some reported all 3 versions, x86, x64 and arm were needed to fix the issue of “vcruntime140_1.dll is missing”.

Hi Tumbler31,
It’s working now using the files from your link. These seemed to be newer versions then I had installed.
Installed only the x86 and x64, and not needed the arm version to get it working here.
Thanks for this link.Cheers Obi1

Hey there !
I’m not stopping anymore, two gentlemen (Tumbler and Batman) on the Discord reported 2 issues with the compiler
PLEASE UPDATE TO THE 2.1 VERSION
This version addresses those issues :
- Better handling of corrupted .flt files (if BMS crash) and compile them with as little missing data as possible
- Handles ACMI without any “feature” (like a dogfight above the ocean)
- Adds color for warning and errors
As usual, you can download here :
