      Hi,

I have an issue with my Cougar TQS in that when I pull it to the idle detent, it activates OSB 14 on the left MFD, applying power it then activates OSB 15 on the left MFD.

This is not right is it? As I don’t ever remember this happening before.

If I am correct in my assumption, how do I unbind these OSB buttons from the TQS.

For what it’s worth, my TQS is on a Tusba and my simpeds on a Rusba - I will add that I am having some calibration problems with the simpeds, after removing the simpeds in Devices and Printers I then calibrate in RS HID tool but, in BMS the pedals are showing as not centred and the aircraft is pulling to one side. Also in RS HID tool the brakes are the wrong way round ie physical left pedal is denoted in HID tool as the right pedal……

Appreciate your help in these matters

sounds like you have activated the extended dx buttons 17 to 32.
you can program these buttons to activate when the throttle hits certain values.
if you have insalled the rs calibration tool you can check it pretty easy.

          Hi, thanks for your response.

I do have the rs calibration tool installed however, it reports all the DX buttons as being disabled albeit, the DX 14 15 and 16 buttons are greyed out which are displayed above the calibration buttons for idle detent etc. Assuming the greyed out reference is active, how would I make it inactive or how would I disable it?

Now fixed, didn’t realise the Idle Mil and Aft buttons could be right clicked to enable\disable them.
