From a long retirement, i found my F4.0 AF copy and i was going to installed it but I realized that i’d lost my manuals and stuff. Then,while wandering on the web, F4.0 BMS came out and i just was unable to believed the new graphics and stuff really realistic. Thank you for keeping the flame lit.

If you are still maintaining this document, take a look at page 6:
• One trick several have offered in F4Patch is to uncheck ‘Shaders’, click ‘Apply Changes’, and
then re-check ‘Shaders’, but go into the sub-options of ‘Shaders’, disable all of them, but
choose “Vertex Interpolation”. Then click ‘Apply Changes’ again. Seems to work for me.This feature “Vertex Interpolation” does not appear to exist in the current (U6) version of the Configuration/Patch program.

Under shaders / lighting there is an option for per-vertex lighting as opposed to per-pixel lighting. Perhaps that’s it. I found that by selecting per-vertex I had a bump in the FPS and didn’t notice a big change in the lighting in game.
